Memorials
[He
was from New Jersey. He left or was forced to leave home in
March 1777. He claims that he joined the Royal Army since I can't
find him in any muster rolls, and that's not surprising given his age,
I assume he was a camp follower. He was shipwrecked near St John
harbour, presumably while going to present his claim and lost his papers
