Margaret was born Shea and they were married 11 Feb 1839 in Castleisland, County Kerry. An older daughter Mary was born in Ireland 25 Dec 1840. They came to Nova Scotia, via New Brunswick, without Mary in 1843. Mary came to NS when she was 16 years old but didn't stay long, she moved to Boston where she married. - JD]
