Muster Rolls 1778: 1st batt, New Jersy Volunteers, Staten Island, commanded by Lt Col Joseph Barton.
[The 1st muster roll is dated 5 Jan 1778, the last muster roll is dated 24 Aug - 24 Oct 1783.  He was on at least 27 muster rolls, which were produced monthly or bi-monthly, including the last muster roll before the evacuation in Nov 1783 and was mostly associated with Major Thomas Millridge's Company. - JD]
