FANCY, Arthur S. - Arthur Seldon Fancy, 67, of 55 Park Road, Kingston, died Tuesday in Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in South Milford, he was a son of the late Arthur and Beatrice (Henshaw) Fancy.M A retired chef, he was a veteran of the Second World War, having been wounded in Italy in 1943. He was a member of Kingston branch # 98, Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Brewster, four daughters, Linda (Mrs. Ivan Pearle), Airdrie, Alta.; Barbara (Mrs. Colin Peel), Hampton, N. B.; Joann (Mrs. Arnold Hudson), Kingston; Sherri (Mrs. Bruce Prout), Melvern Square; four sons, Wayne, Port George; Garth, Red Deer, Alta.; Michael, Bridgewater; Darren, Kingston; three sisters, Mrs. Harriet McLellan, Parrsboro; Mrs. Alma Wamboldt, Caledonia; Mrs. Laura Rafuse, Windsor Junction; four brothers, Maurice, Spryfield; Noble, Caledonia; Chester, Maitland Bridge; Bertram, Bridgetown; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna; two brothers, Clifford and Arnold; two sisters, Odessa and Bertha. The body is in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, where the Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston branch # 98 will hold a service 7 p.m. today. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday in Kingston United Baptist Church, Rev. Peter Sherwood officiating. Burial will be in North Kingston Cemetery. Donations may be made to the DVA Van Fund or the VON. from W. L. FITCH, Marjorie Lena - 85, Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville, passed away Monday, July 25, 2005, in the home. Born in Canning, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Fred and Winnifred (Melvin) Bennett. She was self-employed for many years as a seamstress including a period of time with Don Chase Ltd., Kentville. She was a member of the Kentville United Baptist Church where she was involved with the Dorcas Society. She was also a member of St. Eulalie Rebekah Lodge, Kentville as well as a past member of the L.A.P.N. She was a member of the Kentville New Horizons Seniors Group and enjoyed playing cards, especially solitaire. She is survived by daughters, Geraldine (Jim) Pedlow, London, Ont.; Carol Ann (Richard) Sutton, Somerset; sons, Douglas (Marjorie), Lakeville; David (Wendy), Dartmouth; sister, Mildred Kent, Musquodoboit Harbour; brother, Lewis Bennett, Halifax; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George; sisters, Winnifred MacKenzie and Ruby Leopold; brothers, Eric and Glendon; grandson, Gerald Eugene. Burial will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings Co. Family flowers only, by request. FORSYTHE, Ronald - A committal service for the late Ronald Forsythe, son of the late Creighton and Louise Forsythe, who passed away in July 2004, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2005, in Waterville Cemetery, Kings County, Rev. FOSTER, Elsie Mary - 76, Burlington, Kings Co., passed away February 17, 2006, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born May 5, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Gladys (Greene) Bishop. Elsie had been employed with Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville, before retiring in 1989. She was a member of Aylesford Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, Blake (Sharon Cook) Foster, Harbourville; Kip (Carol) Foster, New Minas; Jud (Mary) Foster, Aylesford; David (Charlene) Foster, Berwick; daughter, JoAnne (Corey) Scotney, Aylesford; grandchildren, Tawny Foster, Corey Tippett, Terry (Julie) Foster, Rodney Foster, Jennifer Scotney, Dylan Foster, Michael Pulsifer; great-grandson, Aydan Foster; sister, Nellie Murphy, Kingston. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Perley Morton Foster; grandson, Ryan Foster; great-grandson, Dalton Tippett; sister, Bernice Loomer. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. this evening in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, in Aylesford Baptist Church, Rev. FOSTER, Margaret Louise - 77, Kingston, died Monday in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Black Rock, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Burdon and Mary Ann (McDonald) Algee. She is survived by a sister, Daisy (Mrs. Reginald Rose), Natick, Mass. She was predeceased by her husband, Wofford; three sisters, Alma, Hazel, Eva; a brother, Cleveland. The body has been cremated. A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m., Jan 4 in United Cemetery, Kingston, Dr. John Bartol officiating.
