Glace Bay, 1873, and came to Springhill as a young man -- m. Miss Mary McLean of Stellerton in Jan. 1894 -- he was educated at Lourdes, N.S.; he was a member of St. John's RC church -- Mr. McNeil worked under successive companies as a miner survived by: -- his wife -- son Hector McNeil, of the Hfx.
