Miss Gladys HANN youngest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Malcolm McLEOD, Gulf Shore and Mr. Roy Sanford HUTT of Sheet Harbor were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, in the Presbyterian Manse, Stellarton by Rev. Mr. McINTOSH on June 26th. The bride was very prettily attired in a suit of navy blue serge, with gray vest and hat to match carrying a bouquet of bridal roses and ferns. The wedding gifts were numerous and costly comprising cut glass, silver and linen, etc. After a wedding trip Mr. & Mrs. HUTT will reside in Stellarton.

The marriage was solemnized in the Kingston Methodist Church on July 9th by the Rev. J. NOOKIN, of Capt. Tolbert Methy DODSWORTH of Parrsboro and Addie Bliss CHESLEY of North Kingston.

Ray BAILEY, who has been a valued employee of the Oxford Woolen Mills, left on Saturday for East Chicago, where he will reside. He may continue his studies in newspaper drawings, in which he is quite clever, as his war sketches amply proved.

At Parrsboro, July 21st, by Rev. A. DANIEL, Harry P. MILLS of Springhill to Barbara G. JEFFERS of Oxford, N.S.

DIED
At River Philip, Sunday, July 20th, Mrs. Blair FILLMORE, sister of Mrs. Bruce HYATT of Springhill, aged 51 years. The deceased was a daughter of the late William DIXON of Oxford.

Mrs. Arthur B. PRATT and family of Asquith, Sask are visiting Mrs. PRATT’s mother, Mrs. Martha RUSHTON of this town. Mr. PRATT intends paying N.S. a visit in the near future.

** C.A. SMILEY, wife, and 2 children from Peabody, Mass are guests of Mrs. SMILEY’s parents, Mr. & Mrs. E.N. SCHURMAN.

Mr. Silas M. DAVIDSON formerly of Oxford who now resides with his J.M. DAVIDSON, C.P Ry agent at Midway B.C. has been visiting relatives in Amherst and is in town this week.

Mrs. A.F. CASSIDY and bright little daughter Doris of St. John are visiting relatives in Oxford and vicinity.

Mrs. Mary KING who has been residing for some time with her daughter, Mrs. William WITHAM, Scotsguard, Sask, has returned to her former home here.

WEDDING - MacPHERSON - LOCKHART
Word has been received in Moncton of the marriage of Miss Stella LOCKHART, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Wm LOCKHART, of Moncton to Mr. T.W. MacPHERSON, of Wallace Bridge, N.S. The wedding took place at Albert, Albert County, on Tuesday, July 22nd, 1919. Rev. G.A. SELLARS was the officiating clergyman.
The bride is well known in Moncton, having being been connected with the firm of the New York Millinery Co. for some time.
