** Miss Laura Robb who has been spending the past few year with her sister, Mrs. Mark GILLIS, has returned to Mass, where she will resume her work as nursing.

WEDDING
The home of Mr. & Mrs. Robt. WHITE was the scene of a quiet wedding on Wed evening Jan 7th, when their son Charles E. and Miss Elsie KITCHENER of London, England were united in Marriage by Rev. J.R. MILLAR of Pugwash. Their many friends join in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.

OBIT - Mrs. Allison FORSHNER
The death occurred at Middleboro on Monday morning the 13th inst, of Mrs. Allison FORSHNER, who was formerly Melissa FILLMORE, daughter of the late William FILLMORE of this place.
Her sister, Mrs. Ezilda TAYLOR was with her during her illness.
She leaves four sisters and three brothers, also three sons and two daughters. Her death was due to typhoid fever.
Mrs. FORSHNER’s husband predeceased her three years ago.
Further particulars will no doubt be given in Middleboro notes.

** Mr. C. McNEILL received last Thursday a telegram that David S. COLLINS, president of the Oxford Tripoli Co., had passed away after a short illness, aged about 70 years. Mr. COLLINS was of a genial disposition and friends who met him during his trips to Oxford were shocked to learn of his death. He leaves a wife and two daughters, one being adopted, Miss Eleanor DICKIE of Oxford, who resides with the family in New York.

At Halifax, Jan 10th, J. Harvey BASS of Athol, aged 57 years.
At. Fort Lawrence, on Jan 3rd, Mrs. Charles COLPITTS, wife of Harold COLPITTS.
At Moncton, on Jan 12th, Dr. Clinton Tremaine PURDY, son of the late Mr. & Mrs. George C. PURDY of Amherst.
At Highland View Hospital on Jan 17th, Malcolm McKINNON, aged 60 years.
At Amherst, Jan 16th, Miss M. Elizabeth BROOKS, formerly a schoolteacher in Cumberland Co.

Ross D. PATTON of Lewvan, Sask, formerly of Little River, N.S. was married to Mabel E. THOMPSON of Bredenbury, Sask, on the afternoon of Jan 7th, by Rev. W. H. STRATTON.

At Parrsboro, 16th by Rev. S. DANIEL, Lord WINTERS of Parrsboro to Annie Viola PROBERT of Truro.
At the parsonage Viscount, Sask on Dec 23rd by Rev. Mr. SMITH, Methodist, Edgar LAMMING to Miss Reta Hazel, second daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Frank DeWOLFE of Carringon, N.S.
