WEDDING - SWAN - McNEILL
The Methodist church here was the scene of a very pretty and interesting social event on Wednesday afternoon, when Miss MABEL, eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. C.C. McNEILL, was united in marriage to JOHN RAYMOND SWAN of Trenton. The church choir room was beautifully decorated with lovely ferns and potted flowering plants. An arch of ferns was erected in front of the pulpit. The church was crowded when, shortly after 6:15 the groom entered and took his place. The bride followed, leaning on the arm of her father, joining the groom under the arch. Miss LLAINA HEWSON played the Wedding March, and Pastor W.J. WRIGHT performed the impressive ceremony. The organ again pealed and the happy pair entered C.E. HILLS car. They tarried a moment, and then to the salute of auto horns they were driven away.
The bride was very becoming attired in a costume of blue taffeta silk, with hat to match and marabou.
The Journal joins with a host of friends in wishing every happiness to Mr. & Mrs. SWAN in their home in Trenton, where they will reside after a honeymoon trip in the Annapolis Valley.
