**Mrs. ELLA KIDD, Boston is visiting at the home of Mr. & Mrs. C.E. READ.

DIED
The death occurred at Harrogate, England on June 23rd, of Miss L.E. PALMER. She made many friends here while visiting her uncle, Mr. C.H. JACKMAN.

The friends of Miss LAVENIA ATKINSON were shocked to hear of her death during Tuesday night. As she did not make her appearance Wednesday, her room was visited and she was found dead in her bed. The funeral will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Journal extends deep sympathy to the sorrowing mother and brother and sisters.

** Mr. FRED KEITH, and Mr. & Mrs. OSRO KEITH and son CLIFFORD of Providence, R.I. are guests of Mrs. MINNIE EATON, Mr. FRED KEITH motored in a Ford all the way, a pretty good stunt for a man of 76 years.

July 6th at 40 Rupert St. by Rev. D.A. STEELE, D.D., JOHN ALEXANDER McEACHERN to ANNIE CHRISTINA, daughter of ALBERT LOWTHER, all of Leicester.

BORN
At Thomson Station on July 13th, to Mr. & Mrs. EDGAR ARMOUR, a daughter.

DIED
HECTOR BIGNEY of Welsford, River John, died at his home there on Tuesday, June 2nd, aged 47 years, leaving a widow, 2 sons and 4
daughters.
