It is with deep regret that we record the death of ARCHIE CARL DICKIE, the youngest son of Mr. & Mrs. BEFORE DICKIE of Mt. Pleasant. The little fellow was sick 9 days. Death was due to Cholers and meningitis. All that loving hands could do was done to nurse the little sufferer back to health, but God deemed it otherwise and on Sept. 28th 1918, at the age of 2 years and 9 months, the little spirit took its flight to the great God who gave it, to the loving Jesus who said, "Suffer the little children to come unto Me and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven. There are left to mourn the loss of the Pet of the home besides the father and mother, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
The little body was laid to rest in Birch Grove Cemetery alongside of his little sister and a brother who had gone on before. Services were conducted by Pastor Wood.
