**On Wednesday, Mr. Bradford G. MARSH, accompanied by Mrs. Arthur PAYNE and George PAYNE, drove to Highland Village to spend a day with Mr. MARSH’s sister, Mrs. J. MARSH. While he and his brother-in-law were driving was stricken with paralysis and passed away at 4 o’clock next morning. His only daughter, Mrs. Frank PAYNE, was notified by telephone and went by car immediately. The funeral was held at Westchester Church on Friday 18th inst, at 2:30 pm. Services were conducted by Rev. Mr. DIMOCK of Onslow, an old friend of the deceased, assisted by Mr. HATT, after which the remains were interred in the adjoining cemetery beside his wife and daughter. A very large attendance showed the sympathy of all for the surviving relatives. One daughter, one sister and 2 grandchildren are all of the immediate family left to miss a kind father and friend. Mr. MARSH was 74 yrs of age, a skilled carpenter by trade and resided in South Boston, Mass until about 15 years ago when he and Mr. PAYNE purchased the property formerly owned by Mr. Rufus B. METCALFE.

**Mr. & Mrs. Ernest SCASE of New York, Mrs. W.K. READ and children of Grand Falls, N.B. and Dr. & Mrs. Barry O’BRIEN of Sangerville, Maine are spending their holidays with Mrs. Thos. O’BRIEN.

Mrs. Frank DOTTON of Calgary, Alta is spending a few weeks in
Westchester with her brother, D.B. BROWN, she expects to return west the 25th accompanied by her niece Annie BROWN who is going to train youthful minds in that part of the country.

ELMER CAMPBELL drowned Saturday.
Halifax, N.S. July 15th - Elmer CAMPBELL son of Elmer CAMPBELL, Maitland aged 18 was drowned while swimming at that place on Saturday. He dove off the government wharf and never came up the body was recovered. The inference is that he suffered from heart trouble or struck his head against something when diving.

PERSONALS
Mrs. M.G. CHURCHILL and baby William of Longmount, Col. are visiting the formers parents, Mr. & Mrs. J.M. HENLEY.

Mrs. Leo MYERS and little son, Jackie left on the Olympic for England on Tuesday July 15th, where she will rejoin her husband.

**Mrs. Carrol TRAFTON of Boston has been visiting her uncle and aunt, Mr. & Mrs. Alex SUTHERLAND, River Street.

**Mrs. Annie DICKIE of Stoughton, Mass, has been visiting relatives in Oxford and is now spending a few days with friends in Kings County.

** Mr. David S. COLLINS, president of Oxford Tripoli Co., Ltd., and Miss Eleanor COLLINS of New York are spending their vacation with friends here.
