CARDS OF THANKS
Mr. & Mrs. W.H. TAYLOR wish to sincerely thank the many friends and neighbors for their acts and words of kindness and sympathy during the illness and death of their beloved daughter, MIRIAM.

The sympathy of the town people goes out to Mr. & Mrs. LLOYD BLACK in the loss of their infant daughter, HAZEL, who died at Antigonish, April 7th, 1919, aged 8 months. The remains were brought to Oxford, where a funeral service was conducted by Rev. J.W. O’BRIEN at the home of Mr. WOODSWORTH THOMPSON, Thursday, April 10th, interment being in Pine Grove Cemetery.
HAZEL was a bright, engaging little child who will be sorely missed by the sorrowing parents, but they are comforted by the thought that the Jesus who said: “Suffer the little children to come unto Me”, he has gathered the little one safely home.

PERCY McPHERSON, son of Mr. McPHERSON of Conns Mills, who has recently been employed in Amherst, leaves this week for Edmonton. His brother, RAY, gallantly gave his life for the cause of liberty overseas and PERCY is going to take charge of his ranch near the Western city.

The Journal regrets to record the death of Little MIRIAM, only daughter of Mr. & Mrs. WILLIAM H. TAYLOR, after a short illness on Saturday. Although not a robust child, she was a general favorite. The funeral service was held on Sunday afternoon, Rev. J.W. O’BRIEN officiating, assisted by Mr. ARCHIBALD STANFORD. The burial was at Pine Grove Cemetery. The Journal extends sympathy to the bereaved parents.
