WEDDING BELLS - WEBB - BROWN
Pugwash, Oct 3, 1919
One of the prettiest weddings of the season took place on Tuesday afternoon, 30th ult, at the residence of Mrs. W. H. BROWN, Durham St., when her daughter, Nellie Beatrice, was united in marriage to T. Merritt WEBB of Amherst.
The Parlors were elaborately and tastefully decorated by girl friends of the bride.
To the strains of the Lohengrin Wedding March beautifully rendered by Mrs. F.M. BROWN, the bridal party descended the stairway. First came the groom who took his place beneath a magnificent arch of autumn leaves on either side of which potted plants and cut flowers were banked in rich profusion.
The bride made a lovely picture as she entered on the arm of her brother, Mr. F.M. BROWN of Amherst. She wore a traveling suit of midnight blue with marabou cape and beauty fawn beaver hat.
A shower bouquet of roses and maidenhair fern completed a very becoming costume.
Rev. E.E. LOCKE of Bass River read the ceremony in a very impressive manner using the double ring service.

At the Methodist Parsonage, Pugwash, N.S. by Rev. Austin M. ANGUS, Wm Teland TINLEY of Conn’s Mills to Sephora E. McLEOD of Pugwash Junction.

At 40 Rupert St., Amherst, Oct 6th by Rev. D.A. STEELE, D.D. - George W. ROSE to Emma A. OAKLEY, both of Springhill.
