Mr. & Mrs. Wm. O. PEEL, Oxford, N.S.annouce the engagement of their daughter Myra to Mr. George ZWICKER of Amherst, N.S. marriage to take place early in September.

** Mrs. H.P. ATKINSON and daughter, Gertrude from Biddeford, Maine are visiting Dr. F.F. BENT and L. BENT of Oxford and Earl G. BENT of River Philip. Mrs. ATKINSON is a sister of Messrs L. BENT and Earl G. BENT.

FUNERAL
The funeral of the late Mrs. Harry FISHER took place on Friday afternoon at the residence of her parents, Mr. & Mrs. S.G. BLACK. Rev. G. R. KYLE officiated and conducted a helpful service and delivered a comforting message to the bereaved ones, who mourn the passing of their loved one at an early age
