Mr. & Mrs. L. M. VanBUSKIRK announce the engagement of their eldest daughter, ERMA LAURA to Mr. SIMON P. MacDONALD formerly of New Glasgow, now of Halifax, marriage to take place in Halifax in June.

OBIT - Miss KATHLEEN JOUDREY

Amherst, N.S. June 10th.
Miss KATHLEEN I. JOUDREY, 28 years of age, died at her home here today. Miss JOUDREY was formerly in charge of the local branch of the Western Union in Amherst. She was a daughter of the late JACOB JOUDREY, for many years station agent at the local depot.

Mr. ANSEL McKENNIE has returned to his home in Winnipeg after visiting his father, Mr. DEWIE McKENNIE.

JOHN HEISLER of Farmington and BERNICE HORSEMAN of Moncton, were united in marriage, June 11, 1919 at Oxford, NS at the home of the officiating minister, Elder J. L. WILSON.
