Hartford Wedding LEWIS - SCOTT
Among the very happy events on Victoria Day was a quiet wedding in Hartford, when Miss ELSIE LEWIS, dau of Mr. & Mrs. OMAN LEWIS was united in marriage to J. SCOTT of Amherst by Rev. E.B. LOCKE.

Wedding LITTLE - CARROLL
The home of Mr. & Mrs. ARCH CARROLL, West New Annan was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Wednesday, May 24th when their daughter JEAN was united in marriage to Mr. WILLIAM EARLE LITTLE of East Wentworth. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. JAMES FITZPATRICK. The bride was tastefully gowned in white and was attended by her sister, Miss MARY CARROLL. The groom being supported by his brother LAURIE. The wedding march was beautifully rendered by Mrs. JOHN D. MURDOCK. After receiving congratulations a sumptuous luncheon was served. About 5 pm the happy couple left in an automobile for the home of the groom's father, Mr. S.L. LITTLE, Wentworth, where a large reception was held the same evening. The presents were numerous and valuable, among which might be mentioned a substantial check from Wm SWAN & SONS. The young couple have the best wishes of their many friends for their future happiness.

Wedding ANGUS - COLBORNE
An interesting event took place on May 31st at the home of Mr. & Mrs. CHARLES COLBORNE of Collingwood when their only daughter, CARRIE AMELIA was united in marriage with Mr. ARTHUR W. ANGUS of Oxford. A number of relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony, which was performed by Rev. H.J. INDOE. At 4 pm the bride and groom entered the parlour and took their place under the arch of white lilacs and foliage, while a wedding march was played by Mr. EUSTACE COLBORNE. The bride was becomingly attired in a dress of colored crepe cloth and was unattended. After the ceremony a delicious lunch was served. The bride received many handsome presents among them might be mentioned a Japanese chair, given by the Methodist church, of which she has been the organist for the last 4 years. Mr. & Mrs. ANGUS will resided in Oxford.

Wedding LESLIE - METCALFE
The wedding of Miss LILA METCALFE and Mr. CLEVELAND LESLIE will be solemnized at the residence of the bride's parents this afternoon at 3:30 pm.

Mr. TRERICE of Leicester, father of Mrs. J.W. ROSS, who has been seriously ill, passed away this morning.
