DIED
Mr. & Mrs. C. B. SEAMAN attended the funeral of Mrs. JANE RALSTON, Wentworth Friday 26th of July.

**OBIT - Mrs. HANNAH KING
Mrs. HANNAH E. relict of the late Mr. ELIAS KING passed away on Monday evening, July 28th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. BESSIE BERGMAN, after several months illness from heart failure. The late Mrs. KING was 85 years of age.

She is survived by one brother, Mr. W. M. FORSHNER, Wallace. Of a family of 6, 3 survive. They are: OLIVER and Mrs. BESSIE BERGMAN of Pugwah and Mrs. FREDERICK WALLIS, Boston.
The funeral was held on Thursday, Rev. G. O. CHEESE being the officiating clergyman. The hymns "On the Resurrection Morn,’ "Lead Kindly Light" and "Abide with Me", were sung.

The pall bearers were Messrs. JOHN BURNSIDE, E. E. PIERS, TUTTLE KING and CHAS. STEVENS. Interment took place in the Church of England Cemetery.

"Jesus Lover of My Soul" being sung as the remains were lowered into the grave. To the bereaved ones the sympathy of a wide circle of friends is extended in the great loss they have sustained.

OBIT - HENRY MARTIN
The remains of HENRY MARTIN who died at Truro, arrived here by train Monday and were conveyed to Little River cemetery for burial, by Messrs. BLACK & McGDOUGALL, undertakers. Rev. J. W. O'BRIEN of the Oxford Methodist Church officiated at the service. Mrs. MARTIN as a Miss DIXON, Little River, who has much sympathy in her sad bereavement.

At Oxford July 31st to Mr. & Mrs. ARTHUR MYATT, a son, CURTIS ARTHUR.
At Collingwood, Aug 1st, to Mr.& Mrs. DUNCAN SCHURMAN, a daughter.

MARRIED

On July 2nd by Rev. C.L. GESNER, Mr. JOHN MOSS of Amherst to LAURA LETITIA ROCKWELL of Joggins.

At the Baptist Parsonage, Springhill on Monday, July 29th, 1918 ROBERT E. PATTON of Glace Bay and Miss GERTRUDE LOUISE ARCHIBALD of Springhill, were united in marriage by Rev. JOHN A. SWETMAN.
