ARMSTRONG, R. L. Jr. (Page 137)Robert L. Armstrong, Jr., was a practicing attorney in Woodbury for a few years. He was a son of the late R. L. Armstrong, who was one of the earliest practitioners at this bar. His grandmother was one of the young girls who received Washington on his triumphal march from New York to Philadelphia to assume the Presidency, and helped to strew flowers in his path.
