Dr. Bond came to Greenwich from Maryland, where he was born and studied medicine. The time of his settling in Greenwich is not known. At one time his practice was extensive. He removed from Greenwich to the state of Indiana in 1836, where he lived till he was ninety-three years old. Dr. Bond was courteous in his manners, kind, honest and much respected. He was conscientious to the verge of eccentricity. He was thrice married, and left descendants.
