I am trying to find the parents of Benjamin PHILLIPS 14 Feb 1760-13 Jul 1835 his wife was Sarah Ann Cain born 12 apr 1768 NJ died 14 mar 1849 Fayette Co.,Pa.

Benjamin Phillips might be the son of RICHARD PHILLIPS who died 1785 and in his will he names 7 children Richard,John,David,Samuel,Isaac,Benjamin and Elizabeth Hill.

Also in Fayette Co.,Pa there was a Richard Phillips born abt 1751 death was 18 Jan 1811 Fayette Co.,Pa He was married to Elizabeth Tombleston who had two children named Elizabeth Tombleston and John John Tombleston

I was told that this was a name that was in the Hunterdom Co.,NJ area. It is possible that two of Richard Phillips might be this Benjamin Phillips and Richard Phillips who died in Fayette Co.,Pa. Also when this Benjamin Phillips came to Fayette Co.,Pa from New Jersey he travel with a Jonathan Hill who was born in Hunterdom Co.,NJ and once in Fayette Co.,Pa the Philips and Hill families lived near each

infact a dau of Benjamin Phillips named Hannah Phillips marreid Richard Hill which is some descended or connection to this Jonathan Hill from Hunterdom Co.,NJ Also one of RICHARD PHILLIPS children Elizabeth Phillips must have been married at the time of her fathers death to a MR HILL...IF anyone has the date of births for the children of RICHARD PHILLIPS and his wife MARY HUNT, I would like to hear from you.
