Rupell Family Cemetery

The Rupell Family Cemetery is located in Alexandria Township, Hunterdon County, approximately nine-tenths of a mile south of County Route # 579 and Mechlin's Tavern, on the left side of Route # 625, 150 feet from the road. It is surrounded by a stone wall on private property. The walls have been restored and the grounds are well-kept. Inscriptions from the extant stones were copied on February 1994 by member Barbara Moser and a copy of the transcript donated to the Historical Society collection. Annotations by Mrs. Moser, a Rupell descendant, are enclosed in parentheses in the transcript below.
