The Historical Society of Winslow Township
Wants you to Honor the Grandparents of Winslow Township!
There is a great need to preserve our oral history, and we want your help.
Grandparents Day is September 12th, we would like to
have school children, grades 6th to 12th, videotape a family history interview with their
grandparents. This interview would help us to preserve some of the history of Winslow
Township, and also give your family valuable information for future generations.
We ask that the interviews be kept to 10 minutes or
less. The interview can be done at anytime, but must be submitted by October 15th.
Grandparents that are being interviewed must live in Winslow Township. If your grandparents do
not live in Winslow Township, perhaps you can interview an older neighbor or relative who
lives nearby. All participating students will be mailed a certificate of appreciation from the
Historical Society of Winslow Township. We suggest that you send us a copy of the original
tape, as we will keep what you send us for our archives.
