NH LIBRARIES and ARCHIVES

I'm always looking for volunteers who have access to information pertaining to Gilmanton.  This could be in the form of a book or microfilm, or it could be someone living close enough to Gilmanton to check out vital records or cemetery records, etc.  Just email me and mention what you are willing to do lookups in or what libraries/archives.  The rules to use the lookups are simple--please no more than 1 request per email and no blanket searches (like, please give me all the information on TAYLOR's buried in Gilmanton!  This is a definite No! No!).  Be as specific as possible and then remember "Mom's Rule #1"-- a sincere THANK-YOU is always appropriate.

The following items are available:

THE HISTORY OF GILMANTON by Daniel Lancaster (1845)
I have copies of the "Genealogical History" section of this book that lists the early families of Gilmanton and the genealogy for the first generations.  The family surnames included are ADAMS, BADGER, BEAN, BURNS, COGSWELL, CLARK, CURRIER, DUDLEY, DURGIN, EASTMAN, FOLSOM, FRENCH, FARRAR, GALE, GREELY, GILMAN, HATCH, HACKETT,HUTCHINSON, JONES, KELLY, LADD, LANCASTER, LOUGEE, MARSH, MOODY, MORGAN, MORRILL, MOULTON, MUDGETT, MACK, NELSON, OSGOOD, PAGE, PARSONS, PEASLEE, PRESCOTT, PRICE, SANBORN, SHEPARD, WILSON, WEBSTER, TILTON, WEEKS, and WIGHT.

If you have access to any data/information you are willing to do look-ups in or would like to share on this site, please email me!  Items such as wills, obituaries, town maps, photos, postcards, etc. would be greatly appreciated and others would love to see them.
