John B. & Caroline A. (Templeton) Welch

John Barzilla was born ca 1853 in Biddeford, ME, a son of Barzilla and Julia (Templeton) Welch. He grew up in Ossipee and worked as a laborer and farmer. He married 1st, Thirzy Templeton, a cousin to Caroline, on 25 May 1873 in Ossipee, NH. Thirzy died in 1876. He died on 17 Dec 1893 in Ossipee, NH and is buried in Welch Cemetery in Ossipee, NH.

Caroline Elmira/Almira was born ca 1864 in Ossipee, NH, a daughter of Ahial and Elmira/Almira (Nichols) Templeton. She married John Welch ca 1878 in probably Ossipee, NH. After John died, she married Charles L. Knox on 31 Aug 1894 in Ossipee, NH. She died 1 Mar 1903 in Ossipee, NH and is buried next to John in Welch Cemetery in Ossipee, NH.
