Nothing is written in the Bible, the family sheets are all blank. But tucked in between the pages were three wonderful photos (no names, dates or places), a newspaper obituary for Susan Cline (Mrs. James) who died 22 June 1893. James died 29 Dec. 1887, Cass Co.,, Iowa and buried in the Evergreen Cemetery at Anita. they had eleven children, 6 boys and 5 girls. (one residing in Montana.)
The pictures are of an old man, the same man in a room with three sewing machines, which could have been a shoe repair shop. The last picture was taken on a ranch and shows pens of sheep.
