AURORA SUN 17 March 1900

Administrator notice of Aaron JONES estate.

Year old son of V. R. DONNER of Hamilton Precinct was buried in the Aurora Cemetery on Thursday.

Rev. THOMPSON who was pastor of U. B. Church two or three years ago died in California of apoplexy.

Wm. MINKS and Jessie BAUER of York Co. were married March 13 by Judge BROWNELL at his office.

Chas. O. LAUTZER 26, son of Daniel LAUTZER and Mattie R. HENDERSON 18, daughter of Uriah HENDERSON were married Wednesday at the parsonage by Rev. HOPKINS.

Dr. A. FONES, dentist sold his business to Leslie MYERS.

Alfred JOHNSON died Monday. Approximately 40 years old. Wife and 6 children survive.

Mrs. W. F. GOODEN funeral by Rev. RUSSELL of Presbyterian Church, burial in Aurora Cemetery.

Private Sidney D. PIERCE Co. I 154 N. Y. Volunteer died at Benton Harbor, Michigan on Tuesday, 6 March 1900 of heart failure. Member of Star Post #74 of Bromfield, NE. Age 62 years.

Maggie JACKETT celebrated her 18th birthday.

Mabel DERRICK, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Z. R. DERRICK, died of scarlet fever on March 12 at the age of 13 yrs. and 2 mos. She is survived by her parents and two brothers.

Peter STROUDT died Wednesday morning.

Andrew PETERSON died 8 March 1900 - born in Sweden June 28, 1844. Came to U. S. 1868 to Illinois. Came to Nebraska 1877. Wife and 6 children survive.


AURORA SUN 30 June 1900

Baby girl was born to Mr. & Mrs. Hans NEILSEN.

Final settlement for Zerilda IRWIN.

Administrator notice for Bertha GOLDFISH estate.

Mr. Nelson CHRISINGER and Maggie CALLINS, both of Stockhammwere, were married at M. E. parsonage, Aurora June 27 by Rev. G. H. HAMILTON.

Charley BROCK of Hyannis, son of J. N. BROCK had been shot and killed.

Mr. Burt WEED, a young blacksmith, died suddenly. Burial at St. Joe Cemetery.

Frances CHAMBERS, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. W. C. CHAMBERS married to Morris FOWLER, son of Mr. & Mrs. George W. FOWLER.

Mrs. Olive Scovill DECKER, wife of Geo. H. DECKER died in Omaha June 21, 1900. She was born in Aurora July 28, 1876 to Hon. & Mrs. D. A. SCOVILL. She married Geo. DECKER November 29, 1899.

Mrs. Irena P. DARLING, wife of Orlando H. DARLING died Monday. She was born 15 September 1849 at West Topsham, Vermont to Mr. & Mrs. D. W. SMITH. She moved to York Co. in 1870 and to Aurora in 1882. her husband, parents, and one sister survive.

AURORA SUN 29 September 1900

Mr. A. P. ANDERSON of St. Paul called here by telegram due to serious illness of his mother. She passed away on Tuesday night.

Twins were born to Mr. & Mrs. Elmer DEAN.

Licenses to wed: Abraham C. HENRICKS 25 - Anna DOELL 23; Oscar GUSTAFSON 38 - Anna NELSON 40; Sixtus GUSTAFSON 46 - Emma CARLSON 42

Wm. MERCER an old settler on the Blue died Thursday. His son-in-law and family, Joseph KINNICK of Montana were here.

Dug MARVEL and family moved to Loveland, Colorado.

J. H. SPRINKLE will have a public auction at his farm -- Sec.6 Twn.10 R8.

A daughter was born to Mr. & Mrs. Henry MARSCH September 19, 1900.
