WEEPING WATER HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS - December 25, 1875 The following information was taken from the Weeping Water Republican, November 27, 1913
"SCHOOL CHILDREN OF 38 YEARS AGO - LIST OF THOSE ATTENDING HIGH SCHOOL IN 1875 - AS GIVEN BY OLD PAPER - DECEMBER 25 ISSUED OF THE NEBRASKA REGISTER QUOTES LIST OF PUPILS - ACCOUNT OF WHERE THEY ALL ARE NOW.
From the Nebraska Register of December 25, 1875, we get the list of high school pupils, who were attending in Weeping Water 38 years ago and a glance at the names as given below will prove a most interesting study. In the Register the names appear in a school report, giving the average scholarship for each pupil during the month ending Dec. 24, 1875. In quoting below we omit the grades which are given, but will be glad to quote them privately to any of the persons concerned.
