Obits:
Pioneer lady, Mrs. G. H. PRIESTER, passed away last Sunday. Margaret WEIMERSKIRSCH was born on 10 Dec 1860 at Bellevue, Iowa, where she spent her childhood, m. 22 Apr 1879 G. H. PRIESTER and they resided in Galena, Ill until 1884 when they moved to Lincoln, Neb. until 1889 when they moved to Humphrey and settled on a farm, Platte Co. Besides her husband she leaves six sons and three daughters: Henry, William, Bernard, Anthony, John, Joseph, and Mrs. John ZIMMERER of this place, SR. M. VIRGINIA of St. John, Ind. and Sr. M. ODA of Chicago Heights, Ill. Two children preceded her in death: Ferdinand who died last winter and one son died in infancy. She also leaves two brothers, Herman and Clemen WEIMERSKIRSCH of Bellevue, Iowa; and five sisters, Mrs. Margaret ENNING of this place; Mrs. Anna PIERRETT of Colton, SD; Mrs. Nick HAIAR of St. Danatus, Iowa; Mrs. John PFEIFER of Lindsay and Mrs. Jac. LEMMER of Goodland, Ks. Funeral services were held at the St. Francis church with Rev. Father ANDREW officiating with interment in the parish cemetery. Out of towners besides the family were Mr. & Mrs. Nick HAIAR, Mrs. Jac. LEMMER, Mrs. Elizabeth FHROM of Lincoln, Mrs. Mary KONERT and Mr. & Mrs. Jos. KONERT of Cedar Rapids, Neb. (in pencil 1920)Mrs. Anna B. APPLEBY, 89, former Omaha and Elk City, Douglas Co. resident d. 4 Aug in her home at Selma, Ca. She came to Omaha in 1862. In 1878 she married Thomas APPLEBY of Elk City. In 1890 she returned to Omaha for nurses training. Survivors: sons, Thomas C. of Selma, Ca; William J. of Lyons, Ne; Charles A. of Serna, Ca. Graveside services were held at the Elk City cemetery. Rev. BEER of Arlington and Elk City had charge of the service.
Henry Fred DELONG, son of Mr. & Mrs. William B. DELONG, b. 5 Mar 1877 Fremont d. 21 Oct 1914 Omaha, aged 36 y 7 m 18 d. Survived by mother and 3 sisters: Mrs. Lillian SHOCKEY, Ames, Io; Mrs. Esther POLLOCK, Arlington Ne; Mrs. Mabel ALLEN, Waterloo Ne. The father died some 4 y ago. Rev. W. S. MCCALLISTER, pastor of the Methodist Church in Valley was in charge of services. Burial was in Prospect Hill. Pallbearers were: Fred and Ed MYERS, Jas. NIEL, Ed. WOODS, Thos APPLEBY, Frank GUY, Jr., Mr. LEBORDE of Gretna was the undertaker.
Adelpha Anna STOWE, wife of Ray STOWE, d. 12 Jun 1922 Billings Mo, b. 26 Sep 1888 near Purdum, Blaine Co. Ne, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George (continued)

(continued-Scrapbook, Platte, Pierce and Douglas Counties)CROOK. She came to Waterloo, Douglas Co. as a small child and remained until she went west with her husband 5 years ago. M 13 Mar 1912 to Ray STOWE, 3 children were born, an infant died at birth. Survivors include her husband and two children, Grace Dorothy 7, and Lucille Alene 6. Service's were conducted at the Presbyterian Church in Waterloo by Rev. P. N. SHEDD. Interment in Prospect Hill cemetery.
Lewis DENTON died recently in Caliente, Nevada; b. 3 Aug 1882 Waterloo, Douglas Co. Ne d. 11 Feb 1916, the second son of the late L. W. DENTON and wife, Sister Della and 3 brothers: Leslie, Floyd and LLoyd were with him, his mother was visiting a daughter in Omaha. Burial was in Caliente.
Mrs. Esther E. TODD, a pioneer of Douglas Co. and one of Waterloo's oldest residents d. at her home 2 Apr 1926 aged 85 y 4 m; b. 2 Dec 1840 Argyle, NY. She m. Thomas D. TODD, 7 Feb 1866, and they came to Neb in 1877 locating in Plattsmouth. In 1878 they moved to Waterloo. Mr. TODD d. 29 Apr 1916. Surviving are 2 children: John of Waterloo and Mrs. F. G. KENNEDY of Valley; also 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Presbyterian Church in Waterloo by Rev. E. ASTON and Rev. John PATTISON. Pallbearers were Ralph and Lyle TODD, Lowell and Russell TODD, Walter and Jesse TODD. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
