Stanton Samuel MOORE, age 97, of Stromsburg, NE, passed away Feb. 23, 2011. 
Funeral services were held Feb. 26, 2011 at Salem Lutheran Church in Stromsburg. 
Interment was in the Stromsburg Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his 
parents C Floyd and Gertrude; two brothers Kenneth and Paul. 

Bonnie Jean (Nordstrom) WITTGREN, age 84, passed away Feb. 21, 2011 in York, NE. 
Funeral services were held Feb. 26, 2011 at the Evangelical Free Church in 
Stromsburg, NE. Interment was in the Stromsburg Cemetery. Bonnie was 
preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Margaret Nordstrom; her husband 
Lloyd; brother Robert and daughter-in-law Belinda Wittgren. 

Clayton K. ERICKSON, 92, of Aurora, NE, formerly of Central City, NE, died 
Feb. 27, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, 
Leland Erickson, Warren Erickson, and Donald Erickson, a sister, Elaine 
Hendrickson, and his beloved son, Clell Erickson.

Irene Mariann JOHNSON,  age 89, of Stromsburg, NE, passed away Mar 1, 2011. 
Services were held Mar 5, 2011 at the Evangelical Free Church in Stromsburg. 
There was a private family burial in the Stromsburg Cemetery. She was preceded 
in death by one brother Richard; sister Ione Strong and her parents Wilbur and 
Olga Whitacre. 

Julie Beth CARLSON, age 54, of Omaha, NE, passed away Feb. 27, 2011 at her home 
in Omaha, NE. Funeral services were held Mar 3, 2011 at the United Methodist 
Church in Osceola, NE. Interment was in the Osceola Cemetery. She was preceded 
in death by her parents Ronald L. Carlson and Barbara Carlson; brother Steve 
Carlson; and niece Andrea Stieren. 

Lloyd Frank SCHLESINGER, age 87, of Shelby, NE, passed away Mar 4, 2011.
Funeral services were held Mar 7, 2011 at the Shelby Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church. Interment was in the Shelby Sacred Heart Cemetery with Military Rites by 
Shelby Legion Post #296. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Emmy 
Schlesinger; nephew Kent Braithwait and brother-in-law Ross Braithwait. 

Darlene LYTLE, 82,  of Augusta, NE, passed away Mar 6, 2011. Memorial 
service were held Mar 10 at the First United Methodist Church, Augusta. 
Darlene was born in Polk, NE on Jan. 10, 1929, to the late Ollie and Myrtle 
(Fredrickson) Johnson. On Aug. 24, 1949 she married Charles Lytle.  
He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by:  
brother, Derald Johnson and sons, Thomas and Peter.

Gregg Lee MOORE, age 61, of Gresham, NE, died on Feb. 27, 2011, in 
Grand Island, NE. He was born June 7, 1949, in Stromsburg, NE to Kenneth 
and Pauline (Campbell) Moore. Preceding him in death were his parents. 
Services were held Mar 5, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church in 
Gresham and burial in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.

Alice Regina RUZICKA passed away at her home in Huntington Beach, CA on 
Mar 4, 2011, at the age of 96. She is predeceased by her husband Jerold, her 
oldest son, Gilbert and an infant son, Lawrence Leroy. The Funeral Mass in 
celebration of her life was held at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church 
Mar 12, 2011.

Doug BROUILLETTE, age 55, of Polk, NE passed away at his home 
Mar 11, 2011. A memorial service will be held at a later date with 
burial in the Exeter Cemetery. Doug is preceded in death by his 
mother, RubyAnn; brother, Greg; granddaughter, Abigail Hohman.
