Interment in the Blair Cemetery. Evelyn Lyons was born Nov. 26, 1928, in rural Adel, Iowa, to Thomas Niles Brown and Bertha Evelyn Glenn. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Olsen and husband Ordell "O.W." Itschner. Robert L. PLUGGE, 77, died Oct. 28, 2010, at his home in Arlington. Graveside services were Nov. 1, at the Kennard Cemetery. Military honors were conducted by members of American Legion Post 71 and VFW Post 8332, both of Arlington. Robert L. Plugge was born Dec. 18, 1932, in Blair to Albert and Wilma (Uterman) Plugge. He served in the U S Army during the Korean War. He married Gladys Clement in 1957 at Falls City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys, in 2008; a daughter, Ramona Sobczak; daughter-in-law, Tyna Plugge; brother, Jack Plugge; three grandchildren, Carla Miller, Angela Sobczak, and Dominique Debrow; great-granddaughter, Christy Mitchell. Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Alvin J. ANDERSEN, 91, of Washington, died Nov. 2, 2010. Funeral services Nov. 5, at St John's Lutheran Church in Bennington. Interment in the Prairie View Cemetery. Alvin James Andersen was born Oct. 29, 1919, to Jens "Jimmy" and Anna (Rasmussen) Andersen. On Sept. 12, 1945, he married Lorene Wilma Logemann at Zion Lutheran Church. The couple had four sons. He was preceded in death by a sister, Clarice Andersen. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Kennard native Betty PETERSEN, 87, of Lincoln, died Nov. 3, 2010. A celebration of her life was held Nov. 8, at Bethlehem Covenant Church in Waverly. Interment was in the church cemetery. Betty Christiansen was born Mar 17, 1923, in Kennard, to Chris and Hannah (Kunnemann) Christensen. She was married to Kenneth Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Calvin Christiansen. Roper and Sons Funeral Services in Waverly was in charge of arrangements. Roland R. DAVIS, 77, of Blair died Nov. 7, 2010, at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Services Nov. 10, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment in the Blair Cemetery. Roland R. Davis was born Mar 22, 1933, in West Point to Howard Roland and Erma A. (Brumm) Davis. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. On May 14, 1955, he married Geraldine Hansen. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Maybelle REGERS, 75, of Blair, died Nov. 4, 2010. Memorial service held Nov. 10, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel in Blair. Maybelle Regers was born Nov. 10, 1934 in Madison, S.D., to Henry John and Elsie (Maehl) Regers. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Hattie, and one brother. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Joan V. DAGERMAN, 58, of Omaha, died Nov. 1, 2010 after a two-year battle with cancer. Services were Nov. 5, 2010, at Roeder Mortuary in Omaha. Interment was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Omaha. Joan Violet Dagerman was born Mar 25, 1952, in Omaha to Kenneth and Toody Dagerman. Hulda BORGELT, 95, of Blair died Nov. 8, 2010. Funeral services Nov. 12, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery at Fremont. Hulda Suhr was born May 26, 1915, on a farm near Utica to Fred and Johanna (Finke) Suhr. On July 9, 1935, she married Fred Borgelt at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. They farmed in the Kennard area for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; five sisters and four brothers. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Raymond C. OLSON, 91, of Blair, died Nov. 11, 2010. Funeral services held Nov. 15, at Jefferson Prairie Lutheran Church in Poplar Grove, Ill. Raymond C. "Ole" Olson was born May 5, 1919, in Rock County, Wis., to Carl and Inga (Johnson) Olson. He owned a milk hauling business for 29 years, picking up milk from farmers and delivering to dairy processors. On July 6, 1946, he married Ethel Christiansen. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Clifford and Clara Olson and Irving Olson; sister, Viola Larsen; and brothers-in-law, Phil Johnson and Don Larsen. Charles H. MARTIN, 83, of Arlington, died Nov. 6, 2010 in Fremont. Services were Nov. 10, at the First United Methodist Church in Fremont. Interment with military honors was at the Hooper Cemetery. Charles was born Mar 1, 1927, in Fitchburg, Mass., to George Everett and Violet (Walck) Martin. He enlisted in the U S Navy in 1943 and served aboard the USS Randolph.
