Julia Maxine  COGDILL, daughter of Clyde and Edna York was born Nov. 1, 1921 
in Stanberry, MO. She passed away Nov.1, 2010 in Osceola, NE at the age of 89. 
Preceding her in death was her husband, William, who passed away July 19, 1995;  
parents Clyde and Edna York, and brothers Clinton and Daryl York. Burial at Rose 
Hill Cemetery.

Jeanette E. COLSON, 85, of Stromsburg, NE, died in Osceola, NE, on Oct. 29, 2010.  
Funeral services will be Nov. 3, 2010, at the United Methodist Church in Stromsburg. 
Jeanette was preceded in death by her son Rick Colson in 1978; grandson Matthew 
Colson in 1994; three brothers Hollis, Wayne, and Mervin Stromberg; and one sister 
Joyce Marker.

Mary Beth EWING, age 61, of Osceola, NE, died Oct. 31, 2010 at Lincoln, NE. She 
was born Dec. 31, 1948 at Stromsburg, NE to Gus and Lois Hartel. She was married 
to Thomas J. Ewing in Omaha, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons 
Christian and Benjamin. Private family funeral services were held at the Osceola 
United Methodist Church with private burial in the Osceola Cemetery.

Peter W. MOODY died on Nov. 7, 2010 in McKinney, NE. Peter was born on 
Dec. 20, 1936 in Cable, WI to Winston Anderson Moody and Mae Jewell. 
Preceding him in death were his parents, son Scott Moody and sister 
Winnie Rahe.

Howard W. LEGG, 86, of Wood River, NE, died Nov. 14, 2010. Service Nov. 18th 
at All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Island, NE. Burial in the Grand Island 
City Cemetery. He was perceded by his parents; daughter-in-law Jacquelyn Legg; 
and brothers John, Glen and Elmer Legg.

Beverly L. BILLS, 80, of Polk, NE, died at York General Hospital  Nov.10, 2010.  
Funeral services Nov. 13, 2010, at  the United Methodist Church in Polk. 
Interment in the Arborville Cemetery near Polk. She was preceded in death 
by her parents; her husband; grandson Lance J. Boyle; and brother Max Jones.

Delores Irene CARLSON, 78, of Stromsburg, NE, passed away on Nov. 17, 2010
in Osceola, NE. A memorial service was held  Nov. 20 at Salem Lutheran Church 
in Stromsburg. Burial was in the Stromsburg Cemetery. She was preceded in 
death by her husband, parents and infant brother.

Elsa Louise LIND, age 70, of Stromsburg, NE, passed away Nov. 20, 2010, in York, NE. 
Funeral services were held Nov. 23, 2010  Salem Lutheran Church. Interment was in 
the Stromsburg Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband Mardell, who 
passed away May 26, 2001; and her parents.

Annette Eckblade ROGERS died Nov. 4, 2010 at Willamette Valley Medical Center in Oregon. 
Funeral services were held Nov. 8, 2010 at the Chapel of Macy & Son with private 
interment at Willamette National Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband 
Dave in 1980; her sister Thelma Stockley in 2002; and her brother James Eckblade in 2003.
