Inurnment will be held prior to the memorial service at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell, NE. She was born July 17, 1927 in Dawson County near Eddyville to Ed and Elsie (Griffin) Mutchie. Bee was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Russell and Charles and one sister, Emily. Nova Jewell (WORKMAN) BARMORE, 78, of Lexington, NE, died June 30, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.NE. A memorial service was held July 7, 2010, at Lexington Christian Church. Inurnment at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell, NE. She was born July 19, 1931, at Lexington to John Hardy and Myrl Sylvia (Hine) Greathouse. She was united in marriage to Richard Lee Workman on June 12, 1951 at Lexington. Richard preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1990. She was united in marriage to Richard W. Barmore on May 1, 2004 at Lexington. He too preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 2007. Nova was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; one son, Charles in 1997 and a sister-in-law, Helen. Kenneth E. McLAIN of Lexington, NE, died June 30, 2010, at the VA Hospital in Omaha, NE. A memorial service was held July 8, 2010, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington. Kenneth was born Aug. 5, 1933 in MN to Harold and Mary (Goodwalt) McLain. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold and a brother, Donald McLain. James Randolph “Randy” SANDS, 61, of Punta Gorda, FL, died July 7, 2010 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, FL. He was born June 5, 1949 at Scottsbluff, NE, to Franklin Peter and Audra Jean (Elliott) Sands. He was united in marriage to Mary Lewis in Nov 1975, at Holdrege, NE. He remarried in 1981, to Pam Garcia. Randy was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Peter. Lloyd O. HAGAN 83, of Kearney, NE, died July 12, 2010. Lloyd was born to Miner and Albia (Sullivan) Hagan on July 24, 1926, west of Eddyville, NE. Lloyd married Betty Marshall in Eddyville on May 23, 1948. (Schroder) Speck. Sofia married Raymond Sherman Jeffrey on Oct. 1, 1938, at Perrysburg, OH. After Raymond died on June 4, 1994, Sofia then married North Platte Sherrill of Lexington, on Nov. 2, 1996, who also preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2005. Sofia was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and her brother, Wayne Speck of Perrysburg, Ohio. Doris M. ARTZ, age 85, of Lexington, NE, formerly of Elwood, NE, died July 23, 2010. Doris was born Jan. 12, 1925 to Herman and Marie (Schultz) Lierman on a farm west of Eustis, NE. On April 27, 1947, she married Chester Artz of Huntley, NE. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Artz, in 1987; sister, Viola Reinhardt; brothers Walter, Arthur and Loyal Lierman; mother-in-law, Laura Artz; sisters-in-law, Lorene Lierman, Hazel Bennet and Edith Byler; brothers-in-law, Alex Reinhardt, Carl Schneider, Harold Bennet and Delmar, George and Lewis Artz.
