A funeral service was held Jan. 5 at Higby-McQuiston Chapel in 
Aurora. 

Evelyn Rose (Hunnell) BERGEN STEIER died Jan. 4, 2010 at Henderson. 
Graveside services were held Jan. 9 at Bethesda Cemetery, Henderson. 
Memorial services followed at Bethesda Mennonite Church, Henderson.

Robert R. DAVIS, 69, of Lincoln, son of Aurora resident Burdette Davis, died 
Jan. 4, 2010 in Lincoln. There was a celebration of his life Jan. 19 at The 
Nebraska Club, in Lincoln. 

Clifford WILLIAMS, 86, founder and president of International Sensor Systems 
in Aurora, died Jan. 5, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln. 
Funeral services were Jan. 11 at the United Methodist Church in Aurora. 
Burial was in the Aurora Cemetery.

Carrol M. ORTEGREN, 73, of Stromsburg, died Jan. 9, 2010 at York.
Funeral services held on Jan. 13, at Salem Lutheran Church in 
Stromsburg. Burial in the Stromsburg Cemetery. 

Lucile DANGLER, 94, of Aurora, formerly of Giltner, died Jan. 9, 2010.
Funeral services held Jan. 13 at the Giltner United Methodist Church. 
Burial in the Case Cemetery near Giltner. 

Richard BRISTOL, 95, of Aurora, died Jan. 10, 2010. Funeral services held 
Jan. 14 at the Aurora United Methodist. Burial in the Greenwood Cemetery 
in York. 

Echo S. BREMER, 93, of Aurora, formerly of Giltner, died Jan. 12, 2010.
Funeral services held Jan. 15 at the Higby-McQuiston Chapel. Burial 
in the Giltner Cemetery. 

Florence CAMPBELL, 88, of Giltner, died Jan. 16, 2010, at the Hamilton Manor.
Funeral services were Jan. 19 at the Giltner United Methodist Church. Burial 
was in the Greenwood Cemetery in Giltner.

Wayne HEINZMAN, 86, of Phillips, died Jan. 17, 2010 in Grand Island.
Funeral services held Jan. 21 at the Phillips United Methodist Church. 
Burial in the Phillips Cemetery.

Abraham P. THIESZEN, 99, of Henderson, died Jan 20, 2010.
Funeral services were held Jan, 25 at the Bethesda Mennonite 
Church in Henderson. Burial followed in the Bethesda 
Cemetery, Henderson

Bonnie HERMANSEN, 81, of Aurora, died Jan. 22, 2010 in Grand Island. 
Funeral services were held Jan. 26 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church 
in Kronborg. Burial was in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. 

Phoebe FOX, 99, of Edgar, mother of Aurora resident Sam Fox, died 
Jan. 23, 2010 in Edgar. Memorial services Feb. 1 at the Christian 
Church in Edgar. The body was cremated.
