James HUBSCHMITT - August 04, 2010
Memorial services for James Hubschmitt, 70, of Wisner, were July 30, 2010
at the Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner. Interment of the cremains 
was in the Wisner Cemetery. Jim died July 27, 2010. 

Frances HUETTMANN - August 04, 2010
Funeral services for Frances Huettmann, 90, of Wisner, were Aug. 2, 2010
at the United Methodist Church of Christ in Wisner. Interment was in the 
Wisner Cemetery. Frances died on July 28, 2010, at the Providence Medical 
Center in Wayne. Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements. 

Lorraine LUEBBERT - August 04, 2010
Lorraine Luebbert, 85, of West Point, died July 29, 2010. A funeral Mass 
was July 31, 2010, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial was at St. Michael’s 
Cemetery. Stokely Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Kathleen ERNESTI - August 04, 2010
Kathleen M. Ernesti, 80, of West Point died July 30, 2010, at Fremont, NE. 
A funeral Mass was Aug. 2, 2010, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Stokely 
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Reuben SCHANTZ - August 11, 2010
Funeral services for Reuben Schantz, 90, of Beemer, were Aug. 9, 2010
at the Beemer Mennonite Church in Beemer. Interment was in the Beemer 
Cemetery. Reuben died Aug. 6, 2010. Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home was 
in charge of arrangements. 

Duane Von SEGGERN - August 11, 2010
Duane W. Von Seggern, 82, of Scribner, died Aug. 6, 2010. A funeral 
service was Aug. 11, 2010, in St. John’s Lutheran Church (County Line). 
Military honors by American Legion Post 196. The committal will be later 
in St. John’s Cemetery. Ludvigsen’s Scribner Funeral Chapel was in 
charge of arrangements. 

Jeffrey Von SEGGERN - August 11, 2010
Jeffrey Bernard Von Seggern, 44, of Sterling, died at home Aug. 7, 2010
after a battle of cholangiocarcinoma, a rare cancer of the bile duct, brought 
on by a 30 year struggle with ulcerative colitis. Mass of Christian burial 
Aug. 12, 2010, at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Sidney. Burial at 
Greenwood Cemetery in Sidney. Jeffrey was born on Sept. 23, 1965
in West Point, to Duane Thomas.

Vergie ERB - August 11, 2010
Funeral services for Vergie Erb, 94, of Beemer, were Aug. 9, 2010 at 
the Beemer Mennonite Church in Beemer. Interment was in the Beemer 
Cemetery. Vergie died Aug. 5, 2010. Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home was
in charge of arrangements. 

Marlyn PETERS - August 18, 2010
Marlyn J. Peters, 70, of Scribner, died Aug. 11, 2010, south of Scribner. 
A funeral service was Aug. 16, 2010, at St. John’s Ridgeley Lutheran 
Church. Burial was in the Scribner Cemetery. Ludvigsen Mortuaries, 
were in charge of arrangements. 

Jack KINGSLEY - August 18, 2010
Jack Kingsley died at Yuma, Ariz., on Aug. 13, 2010, at the age of 89. 
Jack donated his body to science. A memorial service is planned in 
Stanton for November, once the cremains are available. 

Leona Reeson RUBINO - August 18, 2010
Leona Reeson Rubino died Aug. 10, 2010, Fremont. A funeral Mass 
was held Aug. 13, 2010, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont. 
Burial was at St. Michael’s Cemetery, West Point. Moser Memorial 
Chapel Fremont, was in charge of arrangements. 

Delores MEYER - August 18, 2010
Delores Meyer, 91, of West Point, died Aug. 14, 2010. Funeral services 
were Aug. 18, 2010, at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial was in Mount 
Hope Cemetery. Stokely Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Elmira MERRILL - August 25, 2010
Elmira K. “Mira” (Rasmus) Merrill, age 78 of Wahoo, formerly of Sioux 
Falls, S.D. and West Point, died Aug. 18, 2010. Funeral Mass was 
Aug. 21, 2010, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, West Point. Interment 
was at St. Michael’s Cemetery, West Point. Svoboda Funeral 
Home, Wahoo was in charge of arrangements. 

Irene GLAUBIUS - August 25, 2010
Funeral services for Irene Glaubius, 94, of Wisner, were Aug. 22, 2010
at the United Methodist Church of Christ in Wisner. Interment was in 
the Wisner Cemetery. Irene passed away on August 18, 2010.

Dorothy SUTHERLAND - August 25, 2010
Dorothy A. Sutherland, 65, died Aug. 16, 2010, in Omaha. Funeral services 
were Aug. 20, 2010, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Omaha. 
Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery, Omaha. Dorothy was born 
June 27, 1945, at Snyder to John and Henrietta Schueth. 

Jerry RENNERFELDT - August 25, 2010
Jerry Wallace Rennerfeldt, 86 of Oakland, died Aug. 24, 2010.
Memorial service was Aug. 27, at the First United Methodist 
Church in Oakland. Burial at the Pioneer Cemetery, rural Oakland.
