Dorothy L. JONES, age 89, of Osceola, NE, passed away July 27, 2010.
Funeral services were held July 31, 2010, at Calvary Lutheran Church 
in Swede Home, NE. Interment was in the Swede Home Cemetery. 
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul and Earl; parents 
Joseph and Esel Lindblade; two brothers Raymond Lindblade and 
LeRoy Lindblade; three sisters Irene Ericson, Evelyn Fjell and 
Glennis Simpson; and one grandson Clint Jones.

Roland R. WHITE, 88, Lincoln, NE, died July 28, 2010. Memorial service 
held August 6, 2010 at Shelby, NE, United Methodist Church. Burial of 
cremains in the Shelby Cemetery.

Joan Marie BOCK, age 79, of Shelby, NE, passed away Aug. 3, 2010 
at St. Joseph's Villa in David City, NE. Funeral services were held 
Aug. 6 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelby. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Marie Kobza; brother 
Daniel Kobza; sister Ramona Abbott; grandson Blake Kelly and 
niece Cheryl Kobza.

Merna Genevive Johnson NOWELL, age 100, of Stromsburg, NE, formerly 
of Anchorage, AK, passed away Aug. 8, 2010. Funeral services were held 
Aug. 11, 2010 at the Evangelical Free Church in Stromsburg. Interment 
was in the Stromsburg Cemetery. She was preceded in death by husband 
Robert Nowell; parents Eli and Isle Johnson; brothers Clifton Johnson, 
Curtis Johnson and Rolland Johnson; sisters Blanche Schofield, Elnore 
Hanson, Margaret Andel and Bonnie Beth Johnson, both of whom 
died in infancy.

Vivian E. ANDERSON, 94, Lincoln, NE, died Aug. 6, 2010. Funeral service 
was Aug. 10th at Second Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband 
Vernon, parents, sister Marjorie Campbell. Burial was in the Stromsburg 
Cemetery.

Donald R. ANDELT, 71, of Crete, NE passed away July 31, 2010. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Helen 
Andelt. Funeral services were at Kuncl Funeral 
Home, Crete, Aug. 3, 2010.

Mary Jane HARDING, age 98, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Seward, NE, and 
Polk, NE, passed away Aug. 14, 2010 in Omaha, NE. Funeral services were 
held Aug.19, 2010 at Zabka Funeral Home Chapel in Seward. Interment 
was at Floral Lawns Cemetery in North Platte, NE. She was preceded in 
death by her parents, her husband, daughters Wanda Schoenholz and 
Donna Harding, grandson Tom Petersen, brothers Alvie, Virgil, Clarence, 
Anderson and Floyd May, and sister Eva Marie Johnson.
