Edna Marie MAAS, 86, of West Point, died Thursday, June 16, 2005
at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. Services were Monday, June 20, 2005
at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Bancroft. Burial in the church cemetery. 

Funeral services for Leona M. LINDGREN, 86, Scribner, were Tuesday
June, 21, 2005, at Spear-Johnson Funeral Home in Scribner. Leona 
died Saturday, June 18, 2005, in West Point. Burial at Manhatten Cemetery
rural Scribner near Dead Timber. Survivors include a sister, Rita Kulhman of 
Hooper; two brothers, Herbert and Vera Schreck of West Point and Nick Jr. 
and Lucy Schreck of Bellevue. 

Memorial services for Richard “Dick” SCHNEIDER, 76, Norfolk will be 
Saturday, June 25, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church 
in Beemer. Burial of the cremains will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in 
Beemer. Richard passed away on June 20, 2005.

Joseph Todd LINDBERG died on Father’s Day, June 19, 2005, at the 
University of Nebraska Medical Center, surrounded by family.
Services will be held in West Point on Thursday, June 23, 2005
at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Glenn Robert SAMSON, 78, of Lusby, MD, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005. 
Survivors include his wife, Joan Samson, children, Robert and Melanie Samson, 
Carol Garcia, Barbara and Scott Megorden; brother, Vernon Samson and sister, 
Elverna Bingham; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Bervin Wayne (Berv) WASHECEK, 67, Nevis, Minn., passed away
June 16, 2005, near his home on Lake Belle Taine. Funeral services were 
Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at Faith Baptist Church in Park Rapids, Minn. 
Graveside services were June 22, 2005, at the Hector City 
Cemetery in Hector, Minn.

Kathleen WAITE, 45, Citrus Heights, Calif., passed away May 8, 2005, at 
her home. Memorial services are June 25, 2005, at St. John’s Lutheran 
Church in Pilger.

Maurice A. GRONE, 61, rural Bancroft, died at his home on June 19, 2005. 
Funeral services will be held on June 23, 2005, at St. Paul’s 
Lutheran Church in Bancroft. Interment in the Bancroft City Cemetery.
