BLAIR - OHRT, Dorothy E., 86, died Monday, July 25, 2005, in Omaha. 
Funeral services at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Interment in the 
Fort Calhoun Cemetery. Dorothy Elizabeth Ohrt was born March 5, 1919, in 
Washington County. She married Stanley Ohrt on Feb. 22, 1942. Three 
daughters were born of this union. She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Stanley, in 1984; and a brother, Paul Slader. 

RAWLINS, WY - WARLICK, Floyd D., 72, formerly of Murray, died of a 
sudden illness on July 13, 2005 in Green River, WY. Funeral services 
at the Rostad Mortuary in Rawlins. Floyd D. Warlick was born Aug. 28, 1932
in Murray, NE, to Margaret and Irl Warlick. He served his country in the Army 
during the Korean War. On June 10, 1958, he married Leila Klug Dickmeyer 
in Winfield, KS. They were the parents of two children. He was preceded in 
death by his parents; wife, Leila; brothers, Virgil and Donald; and 
other family members.

BLAIR - CARLSON, Robert J., 84, died Friday, July 22, 2005, at his residence. 
Funeral services at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment in the 
Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair. Robert J. Carlson was born Jan. 30, 1921, in 
Harlan, IA, to Axel and Carrie (Fischer) Carlson. He married Elizabeth Grimm. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, in July 1999. 

OMAHA - CARSON, Opal M., 96, formerly of Fort Calhoun, died 
Friday, July 15, 2005, in Omaha. Funeral services at Sievers-Sprick 
Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial 
Park Cemetery in Omaha. Opal Marie Carson was born Aug. 9, 1908, in 
Washington County. She was the mother of three children. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Carson. 

ARLINGTON - WOLFE, Leland, 80, died Thursday, July 14, 2005. 
Funeral services at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Interment 
in Arlington Cemetery. Leland Wolfe was born June 12, 1925, in 
Seward to John and Jessie (Safford) Wolfe. He met Fern Walkenhorst 
and they were married March 20, 1949, in Fremont. Four children were 
born of their union. He was preceded in death by a brother, John B. Wolfe
and a sister, Ruth Wolfe Mackin.

AUDUBON, IA - ASMUS, Harold L., 83, died July 8, 2005. 
Funeral services at Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Audubon. 
Interment in the Manning, IA, cemetery. Harold L. Asmus was 
born Sept. 27, 1921, to Henry and Wilhemenia (Dreager) Asmus. 
On May 20, 1945, he married Darlene Meyer at Christ Lutheran 
Church in Churdan, IA. Two daughters were born of this union. 
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl and Arnold Asmus. 

FREMONT - Elton T. CARPER, 85, died July 6, 2005, at his home. 
Memorial service in the United Lutheran Church in Scribner. 
Interment in the Scribner cemetery. Elton T. Carper was born 
Dec. 18, 1919, in Mecklin, SD, to Leonard and Imogene (Blair) Carper. 
On May 5, 1950, he married Donna Witt in the United Lutheran Church in 
Scribner. Five children were born of this union. He was preceded in death 
by his wife, Donna, in 2001; an infant daughter; four brothers and two sisters. 

BLAIR - VARLEY, Pauline S., 80, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at her home. 
Funeral Mass at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Interment in 
the Holy Cross Cemetery. Pauline S. Varley was born March 3, 1925, in 
Blair to J. Harold and Merle (Taylor) Stewart. On Sept. 28, 1945, she married 
John “Jack” Varley in Omaha. Three children were born of this union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; brother, Jon Stewart; and 
sister, Jean Colborn. 

BLAIR - BOEVER, Ella Jo, infant daughter of Jason and Jessica Boever of 
Omaha, died July 7, 2005. Services at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in 
Blair. Interment in the Springwell Cemetery in Omaha. Ella was born June 26, 2005. 
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Donna Boever, and 
great-grandfathers, Bernard Maslowsky and Thomas Richardson. 

FREMONT - COUFAL, Leonard F., 73, died Friday, July 8, 2005. 
Funeral services at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont. 
Interment in Fremont’s Calvary Cemetery with military honors. 
Leonard F. Coufal was born Jan. 8, 1932, in Sarpy County to 
James and Marion (Pamedit) Coufal. On June 7, 1952, he married 
Joan David at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Omaha. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law
Richard and Sarah Coufal; and brother-in-law, Jack David.
