Superior Express July 28, 2005 Arlyne Fredericka Johanna (Bartling) MEYER, 85, was born on a farm southwest of Gilead, on May 10, 1920, to Fred C. and Marie (Hedden) Bartling. On Aug. 19, 1940, Arlyne, married Ernest (Bud) Meyer at St. Paul's. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Frederick and Arnold Bartling. Services were held Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Hubbell. Interment was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Charles "Tim" Lewis EISEMAN, 58, the son of Charles B. and Jacquelyn (Coates) Eiseman, was born May 26, 1947, at Superior. He died Thursday at Mary Lanning Hospital, Hastings, after a battle with mesothelioma cancer. He married Lori Meyer. Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Charlene Disney, and one infant brother, David Eiseman. Graveside services were Saturday from the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior. Mildred WHITE, 103 died Monday at Edgar. Graveside services are planned for Friday at the Edgar Cemetery. Friends may call today (Thursday) at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home. Clarice F. BRAKHAGE, 94, Superior, Neb., died Sunday at Superior, Neb. Services are Monday, Aug. 1,at the First United Methodist Church, Superior, Neb. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park, Lincoln, Neb., with Rev. Dr. Pamela Brakhage officiating. Superior Express July 21, 2005 Elmer John William DITTMER, 90, was born to Heinrich and Sophia (Marquart) Dittmer on Feb. 15, 1915, in Republic County. He died Saturday. On April 24, 1940, he married Luella Werner at Trinity Lutheran Church, Friedensau. He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant brothers, Herman and Arthur Dittmer; brothers Fred and William Dittmer. Services were held Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Interment was in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, rural Byron. Joyce Charlotte LARIMORE 88, the daughter of Samuel G. and Martha Ellen (Adamson) Black, was born Sept. 13, 1916, in Beatrice. She died after a short illness July 5, 2005. She married Vern Larimore and moved to Edgar in 1975. Preceding her in death were her parent; her husband; her sisters, Ruth Beason and Letta Langdale; and Vern's daughters, Joy Hoyer and Jean Peterson.
