FRESNO, CA - JONES, Gerald W., 77, formerly of Maxwell, died July 7, 2005 
in Kearney. He was born May 18, 1928 in Amherst, CA, to Milo and Ada Reynolds 
Jones. He was the father of three children. He was preceded in death by his wife 
Wanda, his parents, a daughter and a brother Marvin. Cremation was chosen.

BROKEN BOW - BECKHOFF, Lela May Link , 90, formerly of Thedford
died July 26, 2005 at Broken Bow. She was a retired rancher and 
businesswoman born Nov. 18, 1914, at Osceola, MO, to Charley and 
Myrtle Province Link. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband 
David; and a brother, Raymond Link. Services at the United Methodist Church 
in Broken Bow. Inurnment in the Hillcrest Cemetery at Thedford. 

ASHBY - BERCH, John Ed, 20, died July 23, 2005, from injuries received 
in a car accident. Memorial graveside services at the Rose Hill Cemetery 
north of Broadwater. Cremation was chosen. His body was cremated. 

CAPE CORAL, FL - DIEFENDORFER, Beverly Scrutchfield, 73, formerly 
of Cozad, died May 28, 2005, at Cape Coral. Services at the First United

NORTH PLATTE - SCHWARTZ, Edwin "Ed" C., 80, died July 26, 2005
at his home following a brief battle with cancer. He was born July 8, 1925
on the family farm south of Max to Edwin Clarence and Eda Lena Mundt 
Schwartz. On Dec. 28, 1949, he married Betty Joan Foster in Benkelman. 
His parents and his parents-in-law, Leo and VaLeita Foster, and 
step-mother-in-law, Irene Morrison Foster, preceded Ed in death. 
Memorial service at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. 
Cremation was chosen.

NORTH PLATTE - BOMBERGER Dolan "Dode" C., 75, died July 24, 2005. 
He was born Aug. 6, 1929, in Kearney to Harley and Dessolee Bomberger. 
On July 3, 1950, he married Beulah Kennedy in North Platte. They had four 
children. Beulah preceded him in death March 22, 2000. Dolan married Eldora 
Haddock Oct. 5, 2002. He was preceded in death by wife, Beulah; a daughter, 
Diane Miller; two brothers, Bill and Warren; and a sister, Bonnie Smith. Services 
at First Presbyterian Church in North Platte. Burial at Floral Lawns. 

NORTH PLATTE - BOWEN, Billy Dean 68, died July 23, 2005 in Sutherland. 
He was born Nov. 14, 1936, at Hayes Center to James Henry and Mae Brittain 
Bowen. He married Patty Jo Arellano in the early 1950s. Patty Jo died in 1980. 
Billy later married Mary Ureste. Billy was the father to six and step-father to six 
children. He was also preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn 
and Claude "Butch" Shaffer; his parents; two sisters, Maxine Tilton and Delphia 
Vargas; and two brothers, James Henry Bowen Jr., and Eugene Leroy. 

MULLEN - MARSHALL, Alice Eva, 96, died July 23, 2005. 
She was born March 8, 1909, near Gibbon. She was the second 
of seven children born to Fredrick Thomas and Maggie Prindle Marshall. 
On Nov. 9, 1926, she married Clarence F. Wright. Four children were born 
to this marriage. Alice and Clarence divorced and on June 10, 1939, she 
married Owen G. Van Natta at Bridgeport. Owen passed away April 25, 1995. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; her sons, John, Howard 
and Stanley Wright; an infant daughter; a grandson, Anthony Wright; an infant 
great-great-grandchild; her brothers, Floyd, Gerald, George, Wayne and Raymond 
Marshall; and her sister, Doris (Harry) Coble. Services at the United Methodist Church 
in Mullen. Burial in the Cedarview Cemetery.

was born to this union. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband 
and brother, Clarence Garlow. At her request, cremation was chosen.

MONTROSE, CO - WATFORD, Shirley Elaine, 75, formerly of North Platte
died July 21, 2005, at her home in Montrose following a brave fight with 
renal cell cancer. She was born Aug. 30, 1929, to William and Marcella Baker 
Keister in Clinton, IA. Shirley married Duane Tischauser-Watford, Sept. 20, 1953
at St. John's Lutheran Church in Clinton. Their union was blessed with a daughter. S
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Keister, who was 
killed in action during WW II. He was on the last submarine, USS Bullhead, that went down. 
Memorial service at the Zion Lutheran Church. 

OMAHA - SCHROEDER, Rita M., of Omaha, mother of Maggie (Randy) 
Houpt of North Platte, died July 21, 2005, at Emanuel Hospital in Omaha.

OVERTON - DONNELSON, Harold L., 96, died Thursday, July 21, 2005 
at Lexington. He was born Aug. 9, 1908, at Council Bluffs, IA, to Harry Lee 
and Elizabeth Tiby Donnelson. He married Ruth M. Waller of Holdrege on 
Sept. 4, 1941. To this union were born three children. Ruth preceded Harold 
in death on Sept. 1, 1949. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, three 
brothers and five sisters. Services at the Overton United Methodist Church.

NORTH PLATTE - FILES, Elsie Rebecca Rosentrater, 94, died July 20, 2005. 
She was born May 29, 1911, to Gustav H. Rosentrater and Minnie George. 
She had four sisters and two brothers. Rose, M. Louise, Goldie, Esther, 
George and Gus, who preceded her in death. On May 18, 1935, she married 
Floyd Files. They had one child, Richard Lloyd Files who died Aug. 13, 2003. 
They were married for 36 years before Floyd passed away in 1971.

PAXTON - FLAMING, Elma, 84, died July 19, 2005, in North Platte.

DUNNING - MILLER, LeRoy Dean "Lee," 58, a longtime teacher and 
coach, died July 20, 2005,  after a nine-month battle with cancer. He 
was born May 7, 1947, in South Sioux City, the youngest child of Reuben 
and Clara Strate Miller. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1969. 
He received his Master of Education Administration degree in 1976. On May 28, 1971, 
he married Mary Lou Spray in Sargent. One child was born of this union. He was 
preceded in death by his parents. Burial at the Dunning Cemetery. 

SALT LAKE CITY, UT - WILLIAMS, Patricia K. Buckanan Critchlow, 70, 
mother of Vicki Anderson of North Platte, died July 17, 2005, in Salt Lake City. 
She was born Nov. 1, 1934, to John R. and Irene Ekberg Rusmisel, in Scottsbluff. 
She was the mother of five children. She was preceded in death by her parents, 
stepmother, Iris Rusmisel; first husband, Freeman Buckanan Sr., and last husband
Wayne Williams. Services at Daniel Ward. Burial in the Midway Cemetery. 

BENKELMAN - BROWN, Clyde A., 92, father of Betty (Rodney) Scott 
of North Platte, died July 17, 2005. Services at Forch Funeral Chapel

GOTHENBURG - BALLMER, Dennis L., 67, died July 16, 2005, at his home. 
He was born Oct. 30, 1937, at Gothenburg to John "Jack" and Nellie Smith 
Ballmer. He served in active duty in the Nebraska National Guard. 
On Feb. 14, 1961, he was united in marriage to Jane Baker at North Platte. 
Two daughters were born of their union. He was preceded in death by his parents.

NORTH PLATTE - DEIDEL, Ruby, 77, died July 16, 2005. 
She was born Feb. 23, 1928, at Pierce, CO, to Roy and Louise 
Yanken Kelley. On April 13, 1946, she married Harry Deidel in Oberlin, KS. 
Three children were born of their union. She was preceded in death by her 
parents; two brothers, Melvin and Lester; and three sisters, Helen Stackhouse, 
Dorothy Herbig, and Jean Deidel. Services at the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church. 

GOTHENBURG - BOWERS, Donna, 42, lost her battle with cancer July 17, 2005. 
She was born Dec. 21, 1962, at Kearney, to Vernon and Violet Coon Sullivan. 
On May 27, 1983, she was united in marriage to Dean Bowers at Grand Island. 
One son was born of their union. She was preceded in death by her mother.

NORTH PLATTE - ELM, Robert "Bob," died on July 18, 2005, from 
complications due to heart surgery. He was born May 26, 1926, to Elmer L. 
and Nellie Rose Elm in Genoa. He entered the US Navy, serving from 1946 
through 1948. He married Dorothy M. Senften, Aug. 5, 1951. To this union 
were born five children. Dorothy preceded him in death Sept. 27, 1982. 
He married Carolyn Fleecs Dec. 28, 1987, in North Platte, and became a 
stepfather to four children. He was also preceded in death by his parents 
and brother, Kenneth. Memorial services at The First Presbyterian Church. 

GOTHENBURG - VAN WEY, Ernest O., 90, of Gothenburg, died July 16, 2005. 
He was born at Kearney, Nov. 3, 1914, to Harry R. and Bertha Krassman Crawford. 
His mother died when he was 4 days old and before her death she requested Ernest 
be adopted by his uncle and aunt, Glen and Lillian K. Crawford Van Wey. The adoption 
was finalized Dec. 21, 1915. He met Ethel Axthelm and they married Oct. 6, 1940. 
He was preceded in death by his biological parents, adoptive parents, five brothers, 
Harvard, Emmet, Carl, Thurman, Glenn; and two sisters, Dorothy Crawford and Virginia Fisher. 
Memorial services at the First Presbyterian Church in Gothenburg. At Mr. Van Wey's 
request, his body was donated to the University Medical Center in Omaha. 

NORTH PLATTE - WOLFE, Roijeanne Rachel, 67, died July 16, 2005. 
She was born July 3, 1938, at Central City to Samuel R. and Wauneta 
Moser Reutlinger. On Sept. 6, 1959, she married Derald Eugene Wolfe 
in Lexington at the First Presbyterian Church. Two sons were born of this 
union. She was preceded in death by her parents. First United Methodist 
Church Committal service and burial at the Greenwood Cemetery.

She was born May 2, 1930, in Maywood to Raleigh and Helen Dike Jones. 
On Oct. 24, 1949, she married Robert Boltz in North Platte. Eight children 
were born of this union. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca;

DENVER - HUNT, Darrell Glenn, 78, formerly of North Platte, died 
July 10, 2005, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver of a stroke. He was 
born Aug. 23, 1926, in Grant, to Will and Bertha Hunt. He was stationed 
at Lowry Air Force Base in 1945. He married Joanne Niemeyer June 24, 1951.

MAITLAND, MO - ARMENTROUT, Lewis M., 93, father of Judith Colborn of North Platte
died July 8, 2005, in Maryville, MO. He was born Nov. 30, 1911, to R.L. Marvin and 
Esther Faye Stanley Armentrout in Holt County, MO. In 1934, he joined the US Navy. 
On Jan. 20, 1939, he married Cleo M. Honey in San Diego. Cleo passed away in 1999. 
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a stepbrother, Ora Bohart; and companion, 
Mary Sloniker. Graveside services at Maitland Cemetery with full military rites.

BERTHOUD, CO - BENDING, Alfred "Al" Lewis, 85, formerly of North Platte, died 
July 9, 2005, at Longmont (CO) United Hospital. He was born in Ovid, CO, April 23, 1920
to Leslie and Ana Snook Bending. Al joined the US Army during World War II. He married 
Irene Nelsen Oct. 19, 1941, in Sidney. Two sons were born to this union. His brother, Robert 
Bending, and two sisters, Mildred Webber and Vi Brayton, preceded him in death. 
Graveside service with military honors at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell. 

STAPLETON - WALZ, Hildegarde G., 80, entered into eternal rest July 12, 2005. 
She was born Sept. 12, 1924, in Ogallala to James and Loretta Walker Peterson. 
While working at DeKalb Seed Corn Co. she met her future husband, Robert Walz. 
They married Aug. 20, 1946. To this union five children were born. She was preceded 
in death by her parents; a son, Michael; brother, Glenn Peterson; and a 
sister, Mary Peterson. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

ONTARIO, OR - SNOW, William Newton, 87, formerly of Lincoln County, died 
July 8, 2005, in Ontario, OR. He was born to Harry Lawrence Snow and Lacy 
May Kyne Snow on May 25, 1918, in Lincoln County.  He was preceded in death 
by his parents, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral Services were in Ontario, OR.

GOTHENBURG - SOKOL, Leonard E., 83, died July 11, 2005. 
He was born March 6, 1922, at Loup City to Peter W. and Rose A. 
Czarnek Sokol. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II. 
On May 7, 1952, he married Bonnie L. Shaw of Mason City, at Broken Bow. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bonnie Nov. 26, 1982; and 
two brothers, Clarence and Gene. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Good

DECATUR, GA - NEELY, Bonnie Mae, 80, formerly of Hershey, Paxton and North Platte
died July 5, 2005, at her home in Decatur, GA. She was born Mar 15, 1925, to Edward V. 
and Mary E. Miller Jennings at Hershey. On May 19, 1963, she married Major Albert D. Neely 
at Fort Campbell, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents. 

ARNOLD - SARGENT, Lena Mae, 90, longtime resident of Arnold, died July 9, 2005. 
She was born July 5, 1915, to Charles W. and Cathern J. Higbee Strawn in Monroe. 
On March 16, 1932, she married Lee Sargent at the home of her parents. Two children 
were born of this union. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee in 1985; her 
parents; a brother, Dwight Strawn; and three sisters, Violet Howard, Muriel Brooks and 
Lula Brodine. Services at the United Methodist Church in Arnold.

NORTH PLATTE - FRY, Dennis M., 66, died July 9, 2005, at his home.

March 3, 1939, in Omaha to Lloyd and Elizabeth Hollestelle Fry. 
He served in the US Army from 1957 to 1959. On Nov. 29, 1963, he 
married Susan Kelley in Omaha. Two children were born of this union.

NORTH PLATTE - BIEBER, John Michael, 54, died July 8, 2005, after a two year 
battle with cancer at his home. John was born Aug. 15, 1950, in Aberdeen, SD, to 
Wilmer and Doris Bieber. He enlisted in the US Navy. In 1974, he married Christine 
McHargue. Together they raised her son and two daughters. He was preceded in 
death by his grandparents, Tillie and John Oster and Cecelia and John Bieber; and a 
nephew, Trinity Matthiessen. Following cremation, his ashes were spread 
according to his wishes. 

DONIPHAN - CONNICK, Karen A., 51, mother of Shad Connick of North Platte, died 
July 7, 2005, as the result of a car accident. Survivors include her husband, 
Terry Connick and two sons. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and 
father-in-law Darrell M. Connick. Mass of Christian burial at St. Ann's Catholic Church 
in Doniphan. Burial in Cedarview Cemetery in Doniphan.

Donald Francis McGinley was born June 30, 1920, at the Home Ranch in Keystone to George 
and Maggie Thalken McGinley. Married to Nancy Halligan McGinley of Lincoln. He 
was the father of two children and step-father to six children. Preceding him in death was his first 
wife Evaleen and an infant son Mark. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke's Catholic Church. 
Cremation was chosen. Inurnment service in the Ogallala Cemetery. 

OGALLALA - SAUER, Rosemary, 71,died July 6, 2005. 
Services at Draucker Funeral Home in Ogallala. 

NORTH PLATTE - CRAVEN, Amos James, 76, died of cancer July 5, 2005. 
He was born Nov. 13, 1928, to Carl B. and Minnie Pepple Craven in Carrington, ND. 
He was married to Lavina and to this union was born a son. He was preceded in 
death by his parents and a brother John. Cremation was chosen. Mr. Craven 
stipulated no funeral services.

FORT COLLINS, CO - BURK, Donald Lee "Stoney," formerly of North Platte and 
Friend, died July 3, 2005, at Fort Collins. He was born May 25, 1931, at St. Mary's 
Hospital in North Platte to Leslie John "Buck" and Ethel Elizabeth McMichael Burk. 
He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married M. Joann Diener. 
He was the father of nine children. He was preceded in death by his parents. 
Memorial graveside services at Fort McPherson National Cemetery with military honors. 

MADRID - CARLSON, Vera, 80, died July 3, 2005, at her home. 
Services at the Madrid United Methodist Church. Burial in the

DECATUR, GA - NEELY, Bonnie Mae Jennings, 80, sister of Ralph Jennings 
of North Platte, died July 5, 2005, at her home in Decatur. Services at Adams 
& Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte.

NORTH PLATTE - SHAFFER, Claude "Butch" William 60, died July 2, 2005, southeast 
of Hershey as a result of a truck accident. He was born March 27, 1945, at Gary, IN, to 
Samuel S. and Mildred Vivian Peterson Shaffer. On Feb. 9, 2000, he married Kathryn May 
Bowen in Las Vegas. Survivors include three children and three step-children. He was 
preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn; his parents; and three brothers, Lloyd DeCent, Jack 
DeCent and Sam "Dutch" Shaffer Jr. Services at Odean Colonial Chapel. Cremation was chosen. 

NORTH PLATTE - SHAFFER, Kathryn May 48, died July 2, 2005, southeast of Hershey 
as a result of a truck accident. She was born April 24, 1957, at North Platte to Billy Dean 
and Patty Jo Arellano Bowen. On July 6, 1985, she married Eugene Hardy in North Platte. 
She later divorced. On Feb. 9, 2000, she married Claude "Butch" William Shaffer in Las Vegas. 
Survivors include her daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Butch" and her 
mother. Services at Odean Colonial Chapel. Cremation was chosen. 

NORTH PLATTE - KELLOGG, Donald J., 80, died July 2, 2005. He was born Oct. 8, 1924
at Newcastle to Tresa and Jay Kellogg. In 1943, he volunteered for military service with 
the US Army. He participated in the Battle of the Bulge. On Nov. 26, 1949, he married 
Verna Goonan at St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island. Together they had eight children. 
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. 

SIDNEY - CONNELLY, Linda 57, died July 3, 2005, at her home after a lengthy 
battle with cancer. Survivors include her husband, Don Connelly and two sons. 
Memorial services at the First United Methodist Church in Sidney. 

NORTH PLATTE - DARBY, Helen A., 100, died July 3, 2005. She was born Oct. 16, 1904
to Lawrence and Elizabeth Neuhart Rueter near Carleton in Thayer County, the oldest 
of nine children. On June 4, 1930, she married Lee Lawrence Darby in Imperial. They 
resided in Trenton, where their son was born Aug. 9, 1935. Lee died Jan. 14, 1954. 
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rue Oct. 7, 1975; two sisters, 
Olga McBride and Carolyn Davis, and three brothers, Carl, Frank, and Alvin Rueter. 
Services at Adams & Swanson Chapel in North Platte. Inurnment in the Trenton Cemetery. 

GRANT - SEXSON, Bob, 85, lifetime resident of the Grant community, died July 1, 2005. 
Services at the Grant United Methodist Church. Burial in the Grant Cemetery.

GOTHENBURG - VIESELMEYER, Katherine, 88, died June 30, 2005 in Sioux City, IA. 
She was born July 18, 1916, at Sidney to Peter and Mary Fickenscher Stevens. 
On Nov. 7, 1939, she married Alvin F. Vieselmeyer at Gothenburg. 
Mr. Vieselmeyer passed away May 5, 1988, at Gothenburg. In addition to her 
parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. 
Services at the American Lutheran Church in Gothenburg. Interment at Gothenburg 
Memorial Cemetery. 

ANSLEY - GEORGE, Thomas Russell, 72, died June 29, 2005 in Broken Bow.

CURTIS - CURRENT, Christina Carolina, 91, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005. 
She was born Oct. 20, 1913, to Harry and Minnie Max Herman east of 
Stockville on her grandparents' homestead. On Aug. 27, 1934, she married 
Ted Current in McCook. To this union three children were born. She was 
preceded in death by her husband Ted on Sept. 1, 1976; a brother George 
and his wife Eva Herman; a sister Flora Herman; a granddaughter Zalia Mae 
Herrick; a great-grand-daughter Katie Jo Herrick; nephews, Marion "Cork" Herman, 
Jim Current and Ted Awtry; nieces, Jean Current and Carol Simmons; and brothers 
and sisters-in-law Lew and Zalia Awtry and Charles and Katheryne Current. 
Burial in the Arbor Cemetery at Stockville. 

MULLEN - PEARMAN, Thelma I., 89, died June 27, 2005. She was born June 29, 1915
to Carl and Tinnie Little in Cherry County of Nebraska. On Oct. 14, 1935, she was united 
in marriage to Alex "Eck" Pearman. To this marriage two daughters were born. Eck died 
in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her father and mother; daughters, Patricia 
and Arlene; brothers, Ivan and Elmer; sisters, Neva and Minnie. Funeral services at the 
United Methodist Church in Mullen. Burial in the Cedarview Cemetery. 

MINDEN - YOUNG, Dorothy Elaine, 87, formerly of North Platte, died June 28, 2005. 
Dorothy was born Sept. 16, 1917, near Maywood to Jerome and Nettie Galena 
Wills Brott. On July 10, 1938, she married Victor C. Young at the Maria Lutheran Church 
in Hershey. One son was born of this union. She was preceded in death by her husband 
Victor; her parents; and a brother, Melvin Brott. Funeral services at First Evangelical 
Lutheran Church. Burial in the North Platte Cemetery. 

WALLACE - CHEEK, Michala Jo, 13, died Saturday, June 25, 2005, at the Sutherland 
Reservoir near Sutherland. Michala was born May 1, 1992, at York to Gary Lester 
Becker and Kathleen Jo Anne Cheek. She was preceded in death by her grandparents 
Bob and Evelyn Harold and her great-great-grandfather Carl Rieger. Funeral services 
at Odean Colonial Chapel. Burial in the Morning View Cemetery in Wallace. 

OMAHA - HINELINE, Evelyn Elaine Fletcher, 84, passed away at Lakeside Hospital in 
Omaha on June 24, 2005. Evelyn was born July 25, 1920, in Bridgeport to Gladys A. Stake 
and Eden K. Drake. On June 8, 1941, Evelyn married Freal Benton Fletcher at the First 
Baptist Church in North Platte. Five children were born of this union. Evelyn was widowed 
in 1977. She remarried in 1982 to Clifford C. Hineline and was again widowed in 1992. 
Services at Faith Christian Church in Omaha. Burial at Fort McPherson National Cemetery.

COZAD - BEVARD, Alice, 74, died June 22, 2005, at the Cozad Hospital. 
She was born May 27, 1931, at Milburn to Richard and Pansy Mangan Guyle. 
On Dec. 18, 1944, she married Daniel Bevard Sr. Ten children were born of this 
union. She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Jr.; a great-grandson, Brady; 
two brothers, Stanley and Vernon; and a sister, Shirley Alonzo. Services at the 
Berryman Funeral Home Chapel in Cozad. Burial in the Cozad Cemetery. 

NORTH PLATTE - BURGER, Loretta A., 37, died of cancer June 24, 2005. 
She was born Oct. 8, 1967, in North Platte to Marion Zulkoski and Elizabeth 
Barnum. She was adopted by Sterling Blaylock later. In 1986, she had her first 
daughter. Loretta married James Hatcher in 1990. Together they had two daughters. 
Loretta later married Robert Smallfield in 1993 and then Tom Burger in 2004. She was 
preceded in death by her father and a brother John Blaylock. Graveside services at 
Fort McPherson National Cemetery. 

NORTH PLATTE - DRINGMAN, Ernest William, 90, died June 23, 2005. 
He was born Nov. 6, 1914, to Ernest and Maude Luckett Dringman in Sutherland. 
On March 14, 1936, he married Nettie Maurine Golden. She preceded him in death 
on April 28, 1999. On May 12, 2000, he married Norma Merritt Camp in North Platte
and became a step-father to her son. He was preceded in death by his parents; his 
wife; three brothers, Fred, Clarence and Paul; and a sister, Louise Stutheit.
Services at the Episcopal Church of Our Savior. Burial in Floral Lawns 
Memorial Gardens.

OSHKOSH - RODGERS, Irene Gaedke, 85, died June 23, 2005. 
Irene was born Sept. 1, 1919, on the Miller place south of Somerset to William 
and Theodora Dunton Gaedke. In March 1958, Irene married William Rodgers 
of Hershey. Seven children were born to Irene. She was preceded in death by 
her sons, Eric Tisthammer and Emery William Rodgers; sisters Maude Haynes 
and Winnie Gurrican; brothers Carl, Ted, Henry Ford and William F. Jr. Gaedke; 
and her parents. Graveside services at the Hayes Center Cemetery in 
Hayes Center.
