A Memorial Service was Jan. 22 at Mountain View United Methodist Church in Woodland Park, Colo. Inurnment at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church Memorial Gardens and Columbarium in Colorado Springs. Born May 15, 1942, in Kimball, to George Woodford (Woody) and Myrtle Jane (Bouma) Jones. Lee Hill and Jane were married July 6, 1963, at Jane's home church in Bushnell. Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Service in Colorado Springs was in charge of arrangements. Alvin HERMAN Alvin S. Herman of Cheyenne, WY and formerly of Kimball, died Jan 15, 2003 in Cheyenne. Services were Jan. 21 at the Moose Lodge in Cheyenne. Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. Born May 13, 1933 in Madison, NE and had lived in Cheyenne since 1969. Served in the U. S. Army. Preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Josephine Herman and a sister, Evelyn Jessen. Earl FIELDS Earl Eugene Fields, 55 of Houston, Texas died there unexpectedly on Jan 10, 2003. Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service was Jan. 22 at the Kimball Cemetery. Military honors were rendered by Kimball Post 2243, V.F.W. Wayne Brown, 85 of Longmont, Colo. and formerly of Kimball, died in Louisville on Jan 16, 2003. Cremation was at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Born Oct 14, 1917 at Carlinville, Ill. He married Helen Lemkee on Dec 24, 1942 at Algona, Iowa. Preceded in death by his parents. Lundberg, 53, of Cheyenne, Wyo., and formerly of Albin, Wyo., died Jan 8, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Billie Jean Lundberg, of Cheyenne whom he married in Sept. 19, 1975 in Pine Bluffs, and his father, Eldon Lundberg of Albin. Preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Lundberg. Memorial services were Jan. 11 at the Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes and cremation took place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. Preceded in death by his parents Dave and Mabel Jay, mother and father-in-law John and Jennie Abbott, son-in-law Stanley Sanford, niece Nancy Dunham, three sisters-in-law Ilene French, Clara Barr and Kate Hoppe and two brothers-in-law Loyal French and Lester Hoppe. Louis SCHADEGG Louis John Schadegg, 71, of Darby, Montana, passed away Jan. 3, 2003, in Hamilton of heart failure. A graveside service was conducted, Jan. 7 at the Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby. Born on July 12, 1931, in David City, Neb., to Claretta and Adolph Schadegg. He married Avalon Eyler. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Bud, and his sister, Geraldine. Arrangements were under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Wayne CAIN H. Wayne Cain 76, died on Jan 4, 2003. Funeral services , Jan 9, 2003 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Kimball. Cremation the service and burial will take place at a later date. Born Sept 11, 1926 in Holbrook, Neb., to Reverend Wilson and Alma (Green) Cain. On Aug 26, 1951 married to Fayann Armstrong at the Golden Prairie Baptist Church in Burns, Wyo. Alice KARLSON Alice Linnea Karlson, 81, of Scottsbluff, Neb. and formerly of Harrisburg, Neb., died Jan 04, 2003. A memorial service was Jan. 8 at Salem Congregational Church. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory in Scottsbluff. Born Mar 3, 1921 at Tidivad, Sweden to Carl Oscar and Edla Maria (Anderson) Johnsson. In June of 1928 at the age of seven, Alice emigrated with her parents and brother Carl from Sweden to America. In Mar of 1944, she married Paul C. Larson, the son of Joe V. and Lillie Larson of Kirk, Neb. Paul and Alice adopted a baby boy, Milton in 1948 and they resided on a farm in Cheyenne County until Paul's death in 1953. Married Lars Karlson on Jan. 29, 1956 and a daughter, Lynnelle, was born in Aug. of 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents. Abbie PEDERSEN Abbie Lovett Pedersen, 99 of Kimball, died on Dec 30, 2002. Graveside services were Jan. 3 at Kimball Cemetery followed by a celebration of her life at First English Lutheran Church of Kimball. Born on April 22, 1903 at Paris Crossing, Ind., to Melvin G. and Ida (Davis) McClanahan. Married Peder Pedersen. Her husband died July 4, 1970. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; son William Schoenemann; daughter Beverly Halstead; brothers Robert and Frank McClanahan and sister Martha Brooks. Dale WHITE Dale L. White of Pueblo West, CO died on Dec 30, 2002 in Florence, CO after a long illness with Alzheimer's. Services were Jan. at the Cantrell Funeral Home of Kimball. Burial was at in the Kimball Cemetery. He was born to John and Eva White. His parents and a nephew preceded him in death. Carl MOEHR Carl J. Moehr, 74 of Kimball, died Tues., Jan. 28, 2003. Ruth EDMUNDS Ruth Edmunds of Torrington, Wyo., the sister of Wilma Lockwood of Bushnell, Neb., died Jan. 28, 2003. Evelyn EARLY Evelyn Marie Early, 93, of Scottsbluff, and formerly of the Panhandle, died Jan 23, 2003. She was born Oct 22, 1909 at Lorimor, Iowa the daughter of Phillip and Clara Alice (Sweet) Stalcup. She became a country school teacher in Union and Madison Counties. At 22, she met Harry Eugene Early of Afton, Iowa, a town thirteen miles from Lorimor. Marriage on May 7, 1932 at Grant City, Iowa. Her parents, husband, two sisters, and one brother preceded her in death. Her funeral service was Jan. 26 at The First United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff.
