Burial with military honors was in the Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington. Jesse died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003. He was born Jan. 16, 1894, in Oconto to William and Jane (Buckridge) Edmisten. On April 17, 1919, he married Clara Wilcox in Oconto. She preceded him in death on Feb. 15, 1924. On May 5, 1925, he married Ester Klein in Broken Bow. She preceded him in death on July 18, 1989. ELEANOR SEBERGER Funeral mass for Eleanor M. Seberger, 89, of rural Cozad, Jan. 23, 2003, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lexington. Burial will be in the St. Ann's Cemetery at Lexington. Eleanor died Jan. 19, 2003, at her home. Born Feb. 4, 1913, the second child of George and Mary Prentice of Hebron. Married Peter J. Seberger on March 29, 1937, at St. Patrick's Church in Havelock. KIRSTEN A. VOLKMAN Memorial mass for Kirsten A. Volkman, 36, Lexington, Jan. 25, 2003, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lexington. The family has chosen cremation. Kirsten died Jan. 12, 2003, as the result of a motor vehicle accident near Darr. She was born July 1, 1966, at Scottsbluff, to Richard and Maureen (Pieper) Volkman. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her "Aunt Mae" Lauby and uncle, Joe Lauby. GERTRUDE C. NAUMANN Services for Gertrude C. Naumann, 97, Lexington, Jan. 25, 2003, at Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington. Burial will be in the Hope Lutheran Church near Smithfield. Gertrude died Jan. 21, 2003 in Lexington. Born Mar 5, 1905, in Gosper County, near Smithfield, to Seibert and Louise (Myers) Naumann. Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, William and Walter, two sisters, Bertha Stubbendieck and Elfrieda Moran, and one nephew, Charles Kohl. Burial with military honors was in the Elwood Cemetery at Elwood. Howard died Jan. 30, 2003 in Holdrege. Born Aug. 7, 1918, in Gosper County to Alvin and Inez (Lux) Halker. On Aug, 27, 1948, he married Ardus (Haney) Gruber at Sterling, Colo. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Phyllis Adler.
