from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near St. Libory. 
Services are pending with Peters Funeral Home in St. Paul.

Florence VERGIN
NORTH LOUP -- Florence Vergin, 97, of North Loup died June 24, 2002 
in Ord. Services at Ord Memorial Chapel. Burial in Hillside Cemetery in 
North Loup. Born May 19, 1905, in Valley County to Walter and Mary 
Elizabeth (Earnest) Cummins. Married Wayne E. King on Aug. 7, 1923, 
at the family home. Her husband died June 4, 1976. She married Elmer 
Vergin on Jan. 23, 1979, in Burwell. Her husband died Jan. 27, 1982. 
Preceded in death by her two husbands; a daughter, Joyce Bresley; 
brothers, Austin, Anthony, William and Paul; and sisters, Dorothy 
Johnson and Ruth McClain.

Beverly WENTWORTH 
AURORA -- Beverly J. Wentworth, 48, of Aurora died, June 22, 2002
at her parent's home in Aurora. Services at Evangelical Free Church 
in Grand Island. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. 
Born Sept. 9, 1953, at Chicago to Charles and Violet (Bjurlin) Crabtree. 

'Kelly' BILSTEIN
AMELIA -- Thomas F. "Kelly" Bilstein, 79, of Amelia died June 22, 2002
at his home after a short battle with cancer. Services at Atkinson 
Community Center. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Atkinson. Born 
July 5, 1922, at Swan Lake in Holt County to Gustav and Manetta 
(Nott) Bilstein. Married Doris Gumb on Aug. 26, 1944, in Burke, S.D. 
Preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy; a grandchild; brothers, 
Louis, John "Red" and Pat; and sisters, Clara Black and Mary Worden.

Barbara HARRISON
STRATTON -- Barbara J. Harrison, 58, of Stratton died June 22, 2002
at her home. Services at Christian Union Church in Stratton. Burial in 
Riverview Cemetery in Wauneta. Born Mar 12, 1944, at the Naval 
Hospital in San Diego to Filbert F. and Celestine A. (Kloke) Bartak. 
Married Don StaroskaApril 23, 1966. She later married Eddie L. Harrison 
on Jan. 5, 1991, at Calvary Baptist Church in North Platte. 
Preceded in death by her father.

'Ronald' SEMM
LINCOLN -- Charles "Ronald" Semm, 80, of Lincoln, formerly of Grand 
Island, died June 20, 2002 in Lincoln. Memorials services at Wyuka 
Funeral Home Chapel in Lincoln. Burial in Lincoln Memorial 
Park Cemetery. His body was cremated. Born June 30, 1921, to 
Charles and Elizabeth (Parker) Semm. He married Ruth Naser on 
July 1, 1939, in Hastings. Preceded in death by brothers, Leo, 
Wilbur and Darrow, and a grandchild.
