Robert H. Beckner Jr., 45, of Fremont died May 16, 2002, in Omaha. 
He was born Oct. 7, 1956, in Lebanon, Mo. Preceded in death by his 
grandparents. The funeral was held at First Baptist Church in Fremont. 
Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Bernice CHURCHILL
Bernice M. Churchill, 78, of Fremont died May 15, 2002. Bernice Fulton 
was born Feb. 3, 1924, in Fremont. Married Donald Churchill June 9, 1941
in Papillion. There will be no services or visitation. Private burial will be in 
Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Moser Memorial Chapel was in charge 
of arrangements.

Ivan DOHMEN
Ivan F. Dohmen, 65, of Fremont died May 19, 2002, at his home. 
Arrangements are pending at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.

Catherine GRIBBLE
Catherine E. Gribble, 77, of Fremont died May 18, 2002, in Omaha. 
Catherine Fagen was born Mar 9, 1925, in Fremont. Survivors include: 
three brothers-in-law, including Daniel L. Crull of Fremont. Preceded in 
death by her husband, George, and a sister and a brother. Private family 
services will be held. Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler West 
Center Chapel in Omaha is in charge of arrangements.

Vlasta HLAVKA
SCHUYLER -- Vlasta "Sammy" Hlavka, 82, of Schuyler died May 17, 2002. 
Vlasta Zelenda was born Dec. 15, 1919, in Schuyler. She married Charles 
Hlavka April 18, 1939, in Omaha. Funeral at the Presbyterian Church in 
Schuyler. Burial will be in Schuyler Cemetery.

Edna MCKEAG
NORTH BEND -- Edna C. McKeag, 94, of North Bend, formerly of Osceola
died May 18, 200. Edna Nelson was born Oct. 14, 1907, in Denver. At age 
3 after the death of her father, her family moved to Omaha to be near 
relatives. Married James V. McKeag Mar 6, 1929, in Stromsburg. She also 
was preceded in death by a brother and a son. Services at St. Paul Lutheran 
Church in Osceola. Burial will be in Stromsburg Cemetery.

John STALP
WEST POINT -- The funeral for John F. Stalp, 65, of rural West Point was at 
St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point. He died May 17, 2002 in Wisner. 
Born June 22, 1936, in West Point. He was preceded in death by a sister. 
Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery in West Point.

Barbara COLLINS
The memorial service for Barbara N. Collins, 78, of San Diego, was at First 
Congregational Church, UCC, in Fremont. She died Jan. 10, 2002. Barbara 
Wadsworth was born June 25, 1923, in Columbus. She met her husband, 
Wayne "Pepper" Collins, in Alaska where he was a patient in the hospital. 
Burial will be in Columbus Cemetery. McKown Funeral Home in Columbus 
is in charge of arrangements.

Munice DAVIS , 87, of Fremont died June 21, 2002. Munice Wilson was 
born June 22, 1914, in Emboden, Va. She married Homer W. Davis 
Jan 1933 in Fremont. Preceded in death by her husband, three brothers 
and two sisters. Funeral at First Christian Church in Fremont. 
Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont. 

Donald S. DREWS, 72, of Fremont died June 21, 2002. 
Born Oct. 14, 1929, in Yutan. Married Irene M. Weyer Mar 6, 1953 in 
Pineville, La. Preceded in death by a son and two brothers. The funeral was 
at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Military honors conducted by 
the Fremont National Honor Guard of VFW Post 854 and American Legion 
Post 20. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.

George U. LANDHOLM, 75, of Oakland died June 20, 2002. Born Feb. 25, 1927
in Oakland. He married Martha Marine Nov. 17, 1946, in Tekamah. She died in 
Sept 1986. Preceded in death by his wife, three children, five brothers and a 
sister. Funeral was at Salem Covenant Church in Oakland. Burial in the Salem 
Cemetery in rural Oakland.

Marvin METSCHKE
SCRIBNER -- A private interment was held for Marvin D. Metschke, 55, of 
Scribner at Scribner Cemetery. He died June 19, 2002 at his home in Scribner. 
Born Dec. 2, 1946, in Scribner. Survivors include: a brother, Ralph (and wife, 
Linda) Metschke of Fremont; and a sister, Marilyn Villwok of Lakewood, Colo. 
Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements. 

E. Darlene MILBURN, 73, of Fremont died June 21, 2002 at Immanuel 
Medical Center in Omaha. Funeral services are pending at Ludvigsen 
Mortuary in Fremont. 

Florence M. SIEBKEN, 87, died June 20, 2002. Florence Feist was born 
Oct. 30, 1914, in rural Leshara. Married Byron Siebken Nov. 27, 1937, in 
Leshara. Preceded in death by a brother, a sister, her husband and four 
children. Funeral at Fremont Alliance Church in Fremont. 

Harry H. STORM, 100, of rural Yutan died June 21, 2002 in Wahoo. 
Born Dec. 20, 1901, in rural Yutan. He married Clara Thomas Nov. 12, 1924
at her parents' home near Yutan. Funeral was at St. John's Lutheran Church.
Burial will be at Hollst Lawn Cemetery.

The funeral for Donald S. DREWS, 72, of Fremont at Moser Memorial Chapel 
in Fremont. He died June 21, 2002. Born Oct. 14, 1929, in Yutan. Married 
Irene M. Weyer Mar 6, 1953, in Pineville, La. Preceded in death by his 
parents, George and Anna (Stange) Drews; a son, Gary Drews; and two 
brothers, Lenus and George Drews. Military honors will be conducted by

Lorraine MADSEN, 76, of Loveland, Colo., formerly of Blair, died Mar 25, 2002
in Loveland. A memorial service was held in March in Colorado. Born Feb. 16, 1926
in Underwood, Iowa. Married Archie L. Madsen Aug. 17, 1947, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. 
Her husband preceded her in death. Memorial service at First Lutheran Church in Blair. 

BLAIR -- Otto F. MEYER, 84, of Blair died June 22, 2002. Born Oct. 24, 1917, in Scribner. 
Married Bernice Jensen Feb. 14, 1940, in Craig. She preceded him in death April 6, 1994. 
He also was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters. Funeral was at the Good 
Shepherd Lutheran Home Chapel in Blair. Burial will be in Tekamah Cemetery.

E. Darlene MILBURN, 73, of Fremont funeral at First Christian Church in Fremont. 
She died June 21, 2002 in Omaha. Darlene Savage was born Mar 6, 1929, in 
Bedford, Iowa. She married Harold O. Milburn Sept. 3, 1947, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. 
Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Randy L. NIELSEN, 46, of Kimball, formerly of Arlington, died June 21, 2002, as 
the result of an auto accident in Scottsbluff County. 

WEST POINT -- Lawrence RABBASS, 86, of West Point died June 22, 2002. 
The funeral was at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point. Burial in Wisner 
Cemetery.

The funeral for Leonard L. GOREHAM Sr., 77, of Fremont was at Moser 
Memorial Chapel in Fremont. He died June 24, 2002. He was born 
Feb. 13, 1925, in rural Blair. He married Mabel I. Sheets Sept. 2, 1948, in Blair. 
Military graveside services will be conducted by the Fremont Honor 
Guard of V. F. W. Post 854 and American Legion Post 20. Burial will be in 
Blair Cemetery in Blair.

BLAIR -- Harold H. MAGILL, 88, of Blair, formerly of rural Herman, died
June 25, 2002, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. He was born 
Nov. 2, 1913, in rural Herman. He married Dorothy Vinderslev Sept. 2, 1935
in Iowa. Preceded in death by a grandson, a son-in-law and three brothers. 
The funeral was at Herman Community Church. Burial will be in Herman Cemetery.

The funeral for Lillian L. TOFTE, 88, of Fremont was. Friday at Ludvigsen 
Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. She died Wednesday, June 26, 2002. Lillian 
NEUHAUS was born Sept. 20, 1913, on the family farm near Leigh. Her spouse 
preceded her in death in Nov 1993. She also was preceded in death by four 
brothers and a sister. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
