Tuesday August Baruth and Miss Maggie Richard were married in county court, Judge Boyle officiating. The contracting parties are from the western part of the county.

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Rusher, 5 miles southeast of Fairbury, Wednesday evening at 5 p.m. occurred the wedding of their daughter, Miss Lela May to Mr. Martin Johnson. Miss Emma Rusher presided at the organ and played the wedding march. Rev. W.T. Cline of the M.E. Church performed the ceremony. A sumptuous dinner was served to over 40 persons. Many valuable presents were received. The bride was beautifully attired in white and the groom wore black. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson will make their home near Endicott, Nebr.
