Married Sunday moring April 9, 1899, at the St. Paul's German Lutheran church, Mr. George Lanz and Miss Mary, daughter of Conrad Koenig. The pastor Rev. E. Strube officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Lanz have gone to housekeeping on his farm west of town. The NEWS joins with their many in wishing them a prosperous and happy life.

Kyker/Melvin - Reynolds

My grandparents, John T. Melvin and Louisa Kyker were married in Reynolds, Ne. 15 Oct 1893. They were married in the presence of Zoa King cousin of John and James Kyker, brother of Louisa. William Marks performed the ceremony. John's parents were George and Mary Melvin of Rockport, Mo. Louisa's parents were James E. and Rebecca Kyker of Washington Co., Tennessee.
