The Deuel County History book, written by Lester Becher and published by the Deuel County Historical Society in 1984, is available for purchase from the author. It includes a Deuel Co. historical background; communities & towns; business stories; information about churches & cemeteries (extracts of St. Joseph's Catholic, the Lutheran Cemetery and Prospect Valley (Day) cemeteries). You will also find history related to the schools, local organizations and clubs, as well as lists of those who have served in the military. Family histories extend from p113 to 432.
