SWEDISH TALLIN CEMETERY
This is a public cemetery and is accessible from the road. From Callaway, Custer County, Nebraska, take Hwy 40 and go 12 ½ miles west of Callaway. It is also known as Tallin Cemetery or Tallin Table Cemetery. It is located in the center of Elim Township. The sign on the entrance to the cemetery reads: Tallin Cemetery 1885
The land was once owned by Mr. John Tallin for whom the cemetery is named. The Tallin Table Schoolhouse was located just across the road north from this cemetery for many years.
