Wolfe
and Grey (Schuyler) Sites: Overlooking Shell Creek, two adjacent sites
from A.D. 1500 - 1650. Ancestors of the Grand Band of Pawnee.
Zion Presbyterian Church: Dedicated in 1875, and regular services were held here until December 1975.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Cemetery: Constructed in 1918, also known as the "Wilson Church".
Z.C.B.J. Opera House: Still in use today as a lodge hall and community center, it was constructed in 1915 in Clarkson.
Colfax County Courthouse: Designed by George A. Berlinghof and built in 1921 - 22.
Schuyler City Hall: Completed in 1909, a two-story featuring a clock/bell tower and houses a fire station.
Oak Ballroom: Part of the Works Progress Administration in 1935-37, and features huge timbers and beams cut from native oak.
John
Janecek House: 1870 emigrant from Bohemia, John Janecek settled in
Colfax County in 1873. He was the builder and proprietor of the Janecek
Opera House.
Schuyler Carneigie Library: Constructed in 1911-12.
Schuyler
United States Post Office: A mural within the building is the claim to
fame here, as one of twelve commissioned in Nebraska post offices
between 1938 and 1942 by the Treasury Department's Section of Fine Arts.
