Several years ago, Mr. M.A. Carmichael undertook a volunteer project aimed at assisting in locating veterans buried in Cass Co. and at providng the Cass Co. Historical Society with a comprehensive listing of known Cass Co. burials. The result of Mr. Carmichael's efforts is the "Database of Cass County Burials," housed by the Cass County Historical Society. The database contains information on over 26,000 burials in almost 50 different cemeteries.

Update one cemetery, two or all
The burial database was completed up to 1996. We need folks who will update Mr. Carmichael's work (the 20 interceding years in 50 cemeteries). We'd like to have it done by 2006. We will take any amount of help. If you can only update one small cemetery, we welcome that. Please contact the Historical Society or me.
