I'm looking for ancestors of my grandfather, Emil H. FRITSCH, and grandmother, Amalie (SCHMIDT) FRITSCH. They possibly lived in that area in the 1920 as my father, Lloyd, was born in Mott, ND, Feb. 12, 1920. Amalie died in May, 1927; then Emil and 8 children moved to Nebraska for a couple of years; then to Hardin, Montana. I know Amalie's mother's name was Matthilde Bankert (SCHMIDT) KRAUSE. After 1927, my grandfather changed his name to DURTSCHE and only one of the children of Emil and Amalie used the FRITSCH name, Loretta (FRITSCH) MORSTADT. Other children were Emil (Jr.?) Elsie, Margaret, Myron, Art, and Raymond (Bud); one son died at age of 2 or 3.
